its just a fancy phrase for max input delay basically. All you do is regular kara fb, but on the f,d,f part you HOLD forward,essentially making Gouken walk forward and chucking. The length of time you can hold forward is pretty good. Now the fun part is seeing how lenient the input window is and all the variations within with the mk and hk kara distances along with it.

Well… which would you hover towards? Vanilla? Ultra? I think I’d stick with Ultra. AE changes were primarily all buffs; 3fr cl.mk, more +frames on cl.mp and cl.hk, EX tatsu locks, quicker LP Palm, etc… 2012 changes were also primarily buffs; speed variable and damage buff on Denjin, 3fr super, +1 more frame of advantage on cl.mp. He never had any of this in Vanilla.
That all said, would you give that all up for un-scaled backthrow Shin Sho + whatever else Vanilla Gouken had I’m unaware of?
I must admit that I prefer strawberry myself. or some banana. But nothing gets the point quite as clear as vanilla. Though uh, I must admit I dislike when people say Vanilla Yun instead of just AE Yun :3
There’s little doubt that Ultra G is probably the best as he has the most tools. Though, early life, everyone gonna get hit by demonflip divekick again, not to mention that Vanilla damage. Downside is(though also a benefit) is the return of kick counter and its overlap with tatsu+ shortcut bug making ex tatsu less reliable(not to mention no more vacuum on it).
It’s like they don’t understand how big and spread apart the rest of the world is. For anybody who doesn’t live in a big city in america, this feature may as well not exist.
They are still working on it, I’m sure they will get to hear people want to have the option to look for edition matches. Just have it be one of the options in match search(and have quick matches have it set to off or something)
Yeah, but I’m glad it’s offline only… though I would not mind a separate mode for it… or maybe set an option in endless where it could be activated by the host.
Has anyone done any theory crafting on how we will be able to deal with the new delayed wake up mechanic? Like after sweep, do we know how much longer they can delay their get up and if it gives us enough time to do another LK G-flip into potential cross up?
Delayed wakeup is only 11f. So if Dive whiffs and you were low maybe add a frame or 2 and 4 for landing, you don’t have a lot of frames to work with. Though in edition select, only the ultra cast will have it :3
I am very curious how that will intereact with each other. I know vanilas can unblockable ultra each other, but I wonder if Ultra cast could do it(the unblockable is something done to ones blocking, who knows :3)
