Gouken Combos and Glitches

 I think all of us need to keep that rule in mind more often.

I was initially wrong about this one, my memory of it was different.

Just do the EX Palm then dash under and jab. The fireball I haven’t got to work, although with an FADC it can be done easily. I reckon it can be done without though, might need to work on it.

In the corner ex palm >>fp.hadou >> rh>> dash I think that’s it

You wouldn’t recover from the roundhouse to dash under.

In the corner you can just do a forward j.hp to set up the reset. I don’t remember for sure if you have to dash underneath or not, but I think you can just walk underneath to make it super ambiguous. It does better damage than the jab and is a lot easier than the hk. You can do it mid-screen with an FADC and j.mk, but then I believe you have to dash.

The jab is to give the opponent less time to react.

Unfortunately a DP spamming opponent will always react on time. lol

Well. No.

Read what I posted previously, do it training mode with a recorded dummy and you’re good to go.

Oh I forgot, no one actually uses training mode these days. Silly me.

It was a joke… sigh no one gets jokes this days.

I get his point for taking it seriously though, it could be misleading.

But I “lol” in the end, how does that make it serious? =/

You can’t take spam DP seriously.

lol!

The mk demon flip crosses up then puts you back in front in the left corner, and crosses up and puts you on the opposite side. You’ll be close to a stun anyways after landing that.

And if they dash forward?

Then they get hit by cr.hp or you figure out what to do while in the corner, I guess.

Idk if this has been brought up BUUUT…

In/near corner
hurrican xx FADC, Ultra

Just FADC the first kick that launches.

now it COULD be done mid screen but the timing is really tight and you’ll end up tossing out an ex Senku, fireball, or counter which just wastes a bar a lot of the time

and of course you can hit confirm that with some jabs or what ever you fancy.

Here is a video that shows both the set up in the corner and mid screen along with a ex Senku xx FADC, ultra set up. Not the best quality but it gets the point across

jumping MP

so its a double hit, but if you get one hit you can connect a full ultra when you land, I’m baffled though, i don’t know what it is that determines a single from a double hit, spacing? timing?

anyone know?

it seems like space.
you need to hit them in a way that prevents the second hit of j.mp from connecting with their hitbox.

yeah spacing seems right, it seems like alot of luck too, it’d be nice to have a way to make sure it hits consistently like after a back throw

btw shway, that ex palmdash>double dash>ultra is mad, any tips for how to make it?

(got a comp tommorrow night need some new tricks)

in my experience, the easiest way to do it is to hit them with the first while going up your jump arc, and time the punch to hit them as they fall to near the bottom of the punch’s effective area. The second punch seems to be higher up, and combine that with the fact that you’ll be higher from still traveling up your jump, and the second punch should wiff. Maybe somebody else has some better advice, but that’s how I do it.
