Perhaps it isn’t easy to pull off against Ryu. He’s my crash test dummy also.
@Faight: It sounds like an EX burner, but that dizzy tally is ever so sweet!

ok Everyone can u do like i did and post a video with ur combo so i can see it, the combo i did is really good and most of the time i get a jumping f. punch or a demon flip dive kick, i only get in the corner combo like once in a match although Gouken pushing game in the corner is great, alot of characters avoid the corner just bec they know he does alot of damage in the corner. so that combo is safe and in alot of circumstances u will atlease land a demon flip dive kick, jumping f. puch, c.fp so u do that combo and it is easy if u practice it the dash after the hadou is late but does link.
Anti gief corner combo -
j.HK(100/200), s.HP(105/200), EX Palm(160/150{.8}), EX Hadou x 3 (140/200{1.8}), c.HP(100/200{.4}) 625damage 960 Stun.
Uses the full gauge but it’s a 50% combo on gief despite his tankyness.
Yes I could fit a HP Hadou after the Palm, but it scales the rest of the combo too much that it isn’t worth it.
So far it works on Gief and Balrog. Nice.
How hard was it for you to hit the EX Hadou x 3?
not easy. It’s really hard to time since he falls funny.
If you land the j.MP in mid air, as known its possible to land the ultra (good against gief because they’re jumping alot)
But is it possible to land a 3 hit ultra? And what else can you do?
Connecting from Dive Kick
/removed
Info found sry.
Lopes somehow I don’t think so.
As far as I can tell, there are 2 types of juggle states, Normal Juggle in which everything hits if it connects with their hit box, and Special Juggle, in where only certain EX moves and Ultra’s will hit.
AFAIK, Gouken’s 3 hit ultra needs to hit as a normal hit to connect.
Only way I found that out was that in a corner, if you back throw someone into corner then EX palm you will get both hits on the palm, but I’ve never been able to land the 3 hit ultra no matter how I time it. I also can’t j.HK them as they are falling.
Same thing happens if you EX palm, FADC, EX Palm. You can’t land anything but the ultra after the 2nd EX Palm, and it never hits clean.
Gouken is my new bestest friend
By the way here’s a modified version of a combo on the first page.
s.fp xx ex dp+pp, hp gohadouken, ex hadouken, Shin Shoryuken (corner)
674 damage.
doozer, remove the HP Gohadouken. it reduces the damage by about 7 or so. Why “reduce” your combo damage if you’re going to ultra finish?
The HP Hadou is only good because it raises the stun gauge for stun combos and stun setups.
You are correct. I just tested it out and was hoping I could ninja edit my post before anyone replied =)
yeah, the one without the HP hadouken is 683. Also, I found that with bare minimum revenge gauge it is 583.
Dun think this has been mentioned. For the fans of resets: Back throw > jump MP (1hit) > S.HP > demon flip mix-up or lp fireball for chip damage or another throw.
Compared to just a stand HP, the j.MP adds another 50 dmg and 50 stun. If u can land the demon flip throw, the whole thing does 305 dmg and 450 stun. I love this alot becos my default throw combo is j.MP > EX tatsu. Therefore this mix-up usually catches ppl off.

Im working on a 20 hit but its tough.
I am having trouble fitting in the Demon Flip throw. You know, the one that is freakin’ awesome with the grabbing of the head and the slamming of the forearm to the throat/head area…
I want to do it, but when is it applicable to you guys? I am still having a lot of success with the mix up of the other three Demon flips (dive kick, sweep and parry…). I’m just having a hard time finding time to squeeze it in.
So again, when do you guys use it? Also, does it work on crouched opponents?
I find it best to do off of a reset. Back throw, s.HP xx Demon Flip, throw for example. Also midscreen after EX Palm, dash, walk forward, c.HP xx Demon Flip, throw. In the corner after an EX Palm, HP Hadou, LP Hadou, s.HP xx Demon Flip, throw.
Basically if your opponent blocks divekicks after resets start to throw. If he starts trying to avoid the throws then you can divekick again. However since Divekick leads to much more damage (a full BNB) they’ll want to avoid them more than the throw.
generally if you’ve landed a divekick this round into a combo, they will fear the shit out of that. After an ultra or some other knockdown, ex palm, divekick into throw hits very often.
I’ve been using it as part of my mixup after a knock down. Instead of the usual crossup mk or walk up and throw, I do walk up to him as he is recovering and do the demon flip. The beauty of it is it looks like i’m trying to go for a crossup. Another way to use it is in block strings. I bet every1 knows more or less how Gouken’s block strings look like. Instead of going for the full barrage of lps, u can throw 2 lps then go into a demon flip (careful not to cancel the lps though). Or u could do it off a c.MP.
As for grabbing crouching opponents, the timing is a little tougher. But u really shld be punishing them with the kick if they are crouching.
Nvr really thought about this, i’ll put it into my game.
gouken rox!
