Gotham (Commissioner James Gordon Origins TV Series)

I’m liking Gordon characterization this season so far. All the shit he’s been through I don’t blame him going cowboy cop. Last episode is has been the first time since this series started I saw shades of Bruce taking the steps needed into becoming Batman.

This season has been solid, I was calling for this show to be axed last season now I’m hoping for a 3rd.

I came into this thread to say the same thing, he leveled up significantly from the naïve child of last season. He even got the respect of Catgirl.

The show was teetering initially but now I’ve fully warmed up to it.

i just cant get wit the show. i try to watch it…its mostly the ages thing. also treating you like the main audience doesnt know 90% of year one by heart lol. but seriously for some reason the idea that by the time batman is in his 20s-30s all these villains are in their 50s.

Jim Gordon!

The Ice Man cometh!

Literally just finished last night’s episode.

[details=Spoiler]Gordon clappin’ dudes now.

LOL @ Penguin shoving his umbrella down Gallavan’s mouth.[/details]

I never expected Gordon to murder someone in cold blood. He fucked up royally letting Penguin see it. That’s definitely gonna bite him in the ass.

Hugo Strange name drop and Freeze for the second half. My body is ready.

The second half the season started last week. These last two episodes with Freeze has been amazing.

Gotham deserves an award for how much better S2 is compared to S1.

I have to admit I was hoping for bad pun

the guy acting as Hugo strange sure fits the role.

B.D. Wong is an excellent actor in general.

The whole reanimation of already vanquished enemies thing is kind of suspect, but let’s see where this goes…

Indian Hill is a supervillain factory. It seems like a lot of Batman Rouge’s is gonna come from that place.

I still hate the fact that this is coming on at the same time as Supergirl.

I’m happy to see Azrael on the show. I’ve always liked the idea behind the character. It’s also cool how it seems he indirectly inspired Bruce during his escape.

idk this series feels like it gets worse for every episode that goes by

Season started so well but I agree it’s starting to lose its way again.

I feel plots are getting resolved too soon more so than it starting to lose it’s way. Gordon should have stayed in prison longer and actually suffer some consequences for breaking out. Innocence or not. Bruce being a street kid with Selina didn’t amount to much.

the rocket launcher scene was super corny but I liked it lol

Rocket launcher scene was hilarious. Gotham always great when it goes full camp.
