The show is just OK enough to watch, but the drama is underwhelming.
If his prospective baby mama was Jessica Lucas that’s the dance he’d do if he was the father.
I don’t get how that could be Galavan’s sister. Maybe in spirit lol.
So much Penguin hate. I actually enjoyed his character the most out of everyone else in the series (villain wise). He was the only villain bringing the whole show full circle with blood/bullets/everything. Sometimes this show can be here and there, but i’m loving all these nods to their iconic quirks and character. Even down to explaining why they carry the items they do, why they dress the way they dress, and what they fear most. A lot of the weird shit that happened was more or less just letting the audience know that real shit might be popping off but it’ll get comic book real fast. Bullock is easily my favorite good guy in the show at the moment. Dude gets more salt and pop-offs than Orville Redenbacher.
I dislike the Barbara character, never really been a fan of ditsy chicks.
Penguin in general is terrible in the comics but I am interested in seeing him slowly rise in power in this show.
My only problem with Penguin on this show is how bloodthirsty he is. He’s killed a couple of people on this show for no real reason. He isn’t the type of character to kill people for the fuck of it.
I enjoy Gotham even though it’s quailty isn’t the best. I like how campy and cheesy this show can get.
This was by far the best episode of the series, I’ll give season 2 a chance now.
Season 2 is giving me a tim burton movie/ batman tas vibe so far. It’s dark yet wacky at times, like how a batman show should be. it’s weird going from the serious tone of season 1 to this but I’m not complaining.
I didn’t really like Person of Interest. May finish the first season though just to complete it, but yeah. It’s far fetched and…I dunno. Not my type of show. I really liked Psych, but that’s because it pokes fun at a lot of things. It came before Mentalist and honestly I don’t understand how Mentalist wasn’t sued for also using a very very very very similar theme.
Edit: To stay on topic…I stopped watching Gotham after Barbara left Gordon midway through season 1. Does the show pick up a lot more, or still the same overall progression after that?

Barbara has no point in the show, I don’t understand her character. She is just a bitchy person who is a shit, then we should feel bad for her for a few episodes, and we don’t.
Honestly if she somehow gets all good again and breaks up the Leslie love life fuck this show.
Barbara has become less shitty since her turn to villainy but she still doesn’t offer much. Her character is just to torture Jim and be a bitch to Leslie now. I won’t be too bad if we get another cat fight out of them.

I’m enjoying this season more than Arrow. Glad they upped the violence this show needed that kick, I would prefer the wackiness to be toned down a tad more but whatevs.

The Wackiness is a big part of why I enjoy Gotham. The criminal supermarket from the last episode is what I want to see more from this show.
Same. Season 2 is giving off a dark, Batman TAS tone mixed with wackiness and I dig it.
Disclaimer: In no way am I saying Gotham is even close to approaching what TAS was able to do. I think we can all agree TAS was on another level.

Gotham has gotten it together this season. All those Penguin look-alikes, limp and all, was crazy.
Gotham been knocking it out the park this season. Riddler’s actor really stepping his game up.
