Gotham (Commissioner James Gordon Origins TV Series)

Neil cried with a jealous rage after realizing he could never copy the beautiful subtle nuance of works such as The Filth and jumped right onto Palmer’s Dresden Dick ™

WTF…why wouldn’t you want it to happen.

Why the hate yo?

that’s…not even possible…

deep breaths

sup nickguy what good

Pfft. Jack him up on hallucinogens and he’ll show Grant something.

Why should I automatically want it to happen? Have we not had enough instructive examples of ways in which an adaptation incredibly imaginative and beloved comic series could and most likely will go disastrously wrong?

Maybe if we’re lucky someone on the executive board will be a fan and want to preserve the integrity of the source material…

They should do a Daily Planet or Daily Bugle situation comedy/drama where they portray JJ as a womanizing racist. Like madmen or something. You know…lots of fast talking while walking, smoking cigars, referring to anyone not American or European as “Sand-Niggers”

Kromo I believe they prefer the term “dune coons”

Hey boel

You cant have gordon pre-batman in gotham because before batman gordon was in chicago

The only way this thing has a shot at lasting and being any good is if Cranston plays Gordon.

This is to Agents of Shield what JLA will be to The Avengers.

A “who gives a shit” knockoff.

I’ve only seen 2 episodes but that’s more than enough for me to correctly categorize it as the bread and butter and american TV: dumbed down police procedural aimed at the lowest common denominator. The police procedural genre completely dominates TV and yet the only ones ambitious and intelligent enough to be worth my time of the past few years are Awake, Dexter, and The Killing, the rest are mind numbing hackneyed trash serving to further stunt the mental, emotional, and cultural growth of the U.S.

I’ve heard Person of Interest is good, I’ll check that out. I’ll give commissioner Gordon a chance with an open mind but I hope I’m wrong and it turns out great, we need more quality police procedurals.

Only way this will last past season 2 on FOX is if Cranston plays Gordon.

"And if we cared about their preferences we wouldn’t bomb their asses and steal their oil, now get your fine ass in gear, finish those headlines and bring me some coffee!"
Slams door
