3.) Throw Follow Up Combos

a.) [throw], run up, 5K, 5P, 2S, SJC, j.H, j.D, koku (can recover)
The distance you need to run up differs a bit from chara to chara. I guess for Johnny it’s the shortest, for Testa the longest.

b.) [throw], short dash, 5K, 5P, 2S, 623H, 623H
connects on: all charas except Baiken, Bridget, May, Millia
Does about 10 dmg (x chara defence modifier) less, knocks down therefore

c.) [throw], 6K, 2S, SJC, j.H, j.D, koku (can recover)
Connects on: ABA*, Axl, Bridget, Chipp, Dizzy, Faust, INO, Potemkin, SOL, Slayer, Order SOL, Zappa
More damaging and even easier to do variation of the first combo as you don’t need to dash (except against ABA); heavily recommend for every listed chara (except ABA).

*need to do short dash right after throw

d.) [throw], 6K, 2S, 623H, 623H
Connects on: ABA*, Axl**, Chipp, Faust, INO, Potemkin, SOL**, Order SOL**,
The knockdown variation of the foregoing combo.

• need to do short dash right after throw
  **hard to connect due to height / hitbox

e.) [throw], 5P, 2S, 6K, 2S, SJC, j.H, j.D, koku (can recover)
Pot only

connects on: all charas exept ABA (couldn’t do it on Jam, but could be lacking practice)
Harder to do, but more damaging variation.

loops. they do an assload of dmg so idk why i waited so
long fuking dizzy is so awesome omg, suuuuuuuure 75%
from a 50/50 is fair. i love it :fap:

Is there any use for Jam’s 236S->K? I mean, I see it staggers, but by the time she recovers, the opponent is usually recovered as well.

Jam sure does an assload of damage off without any meter, though.

That move can be cancled into a powered up kick special, which leads to corner rape.

You can combo off of 2D into it which leads to pain.

Thank you gentlemen! See, I didnt know the kick could be cancelled into her, um, charged kicks. It isnt like it is mentioned in the manual or anything… Although 2D > 236S - K > powered up ryuujin seems to let the oppnonet flip damn near instantly after the sliding kick. Either that, or I need to the the Ryuujin REALLY fast. I got he opponent to back flip on earliest frame.

Yeah you have to be fast, but it’s not that hard if you practice. I break the rhythm up into 2 parts: 2D > 236S, then K > 236K.

Don’t know if that makes much sense…

Can anyone tell me if the AC machine at chinatown fair is playable now? I was there on Friday and Henry was fixing up the cab AC is going in. He told me that the game wont be ready to play till tuesday or wednesday due to an ordering issue. If its up and running today im going to go after work

You need to make sure you’re not OTGing with the slidekick. That’s the “hard” part, the charge kick part is pretty lenient.
If your opponent is teching “near instantly” then you’re probably OTGing. Mess with it more.

I’ve actually been playing fighters all my life, just getting serious in the last 3-4 years. I know plenty of shit, just haven’t come across the term 50-50 before. I just generalize that under “mixup” .
