Triple jump to dodge I-noâs widescreen OD. Play defensively. The longest combos you should ever do should be Overdrives ONLY. Anything else and sheâll just instant-recovery right out and do her OD.
well that makes sense. who the fuck would play a fighter with the wiimote? its just not the right equipment.
you see anyone play duck hunt without the NES Zapper? FUCK NO.
They said itâs JUST as good as the PS2 one. They just said that they gave it such a low score because not everyone owns a Classic Controller or a Stick for the Wii so they judged it by the motion sensing controls.
I played the Wii version, some characters have a huge advantage with the Wiimote. May doing Dolphins from neutral position???!?? Think about it.
I just got the Wii version and although Iâm somewhat rusty on the GG department Iâm having a good time, by the way Iâm using the classic controller (of course!) so if Wii is all you got and you happen to own a classic controller (it suports GC pad too but the layout of the buttons, as everybody knows, is kinda weird and the d-pad is too freaking small!) donât hesitate to get the game, seriously.
And for those who like to use arcade sticks, thereâs a Wii Hori-stick coming out, but personally Iâm set with the Classic Controller and can play very well with that one
If for any reason developers stop producing PS2 titles (I hope they donât) I think the Wii may be a good home for old school 2d fighters because of lower development costs and because Nintendo doesnât have high tech presentation requirements for retail games like Sony (ps3) and MS (360) do. It can be that or making those kind of games for download on Ps3 and 360âŚor the ps2 living a lot moreâŚ
Wait⌠can you IAD install?? Like, jump install in a blockstring with bridget, JC & IAD at them, do j.k, j.s j.2s, and then be able to double jump off that??
That, my good man, is indeed a good questionâŚ
If you IAD in, Iâm pretty sure you lose the jump install, and youâll have to JI at some point to get it again, unless you use an auto-JI attack.
Auto-JI attack!? Damn Iâm out of the loop. Since when does anything JI for you? Can someone elaborate?
Solâs Bandit Revolver has auto-JI properties. RC it and you can jump from it. Venomâs warp also can be jumped after doing it. Thatâs all I know.
Most moves that you perform that send you into the air if RCâd will not allow you jump or airdash afterwards. However some moves, like Solâs bandit revolver, when FRCâd or RCâd in the air allows you to jump or air dash while you are still in the air.
To explain this one a little more thoroughly, since no one else got to it:
JI doesnât give you an extra double-jump or anything like that, it merely causes the game to recognize you as being in normal-jump state until you return to neutral stance on the ground, so you have the double-jump and airdash option if you roman cancel a move that leaves you in the air or you have the option to double jump if you superjump cancel, which is normally impossible.
I believe itâs actually possible to superjump install, and not the way most people use the term (that is, to mean âjump-installed superjumpâŚâ which is definitely a pain in the ass, so the abbreviation makes sense :P), so that moves that leave you in the air will allow you to airdash but not double-jump. If you input Chippâs H teleport like so:
228H
Youâre in âsuperjump modeâ on the way down because the 28 is counted as a superjump input, so you can airdash but not double-jump.
So what does Slayer do against Baiken? I know I just need ONE HIT against her, but with her stupid mats and her counters stopping me from doing Slayer ârushdownâ, itâs frustrating.
Any ideas?
As far as I know, you canât really do much pressure against Baiken because of her counters as Slayer, so youâre going to have to rely more on punishing whiffed moves, unsafe moves, fishing for CHs, etc. Also, if youâre getting pressured by Baiken and she does Razorcrane, I think itâs a free BBU CH if you react fast enough.
Iâll try to get Koogy-chan to elaborate when I see him get on.
Dumb question butâŚ
Are the âbonus imagesâ in the gallery unlocked through time release?
So far I have 1, 6, and 7.

Hos is the shitâŚthat is all
Hos is cool, but heâs secondary character material only. REAL MEN PLAY MILLIA! Speaking of HOS, does anyone use his BHB anymore, or does it suck too much now that it doesnât do like 8 hits and travels?
BHBâŚ
I mainly use it as a block string ender. I.E. 2K,5S,2S>BHB AC FRC or 5K,5S,f.S>BHB AC FRC. Rarely and I do mean RARELY Iâll use BHB up close as a stand alone. If youâre good at Charge keep(hold D while doing a lvl.2/3 move) you can gain charge meter hella fast. And you donât have to always AC FRC BHB either. This is what I use f.S for. Sometimes I AC FRC or no FRC.
Another note. Sometimes I use a simple 1-2 combo a la SF. 2K or 5k BHB, with meter end with BHB AC FRC. Or rarely f.S BHB AC FRC.
Hmm. Thanks.
