lvl1 BHB still has about the same utility as always. lvl3 is still good, just not like 2 seconds of stagger or whatever. Kinda useful for some hit-confirm-y combos and some pressure stuff.
BHB in close fighting = great. It combos off of everything, frame advantage with AC FRC, doesn’t push out, can lead into big damage if you have meter. Great move.
And something on Rock It. It seems Venom has a hard time dealing with Rock It when HOS gets in. Lvl.1 at close range crushes Venom’s normals for he has to hit HOS at the startup of Rock It. But at such close quarters it nigh-impossible for Venom to beat Rock It unless A)Dark Angel or B) Warp. Even Stinger Aim and Carcass Raid is risky because even if HOS gets hit Rock It and SA or CR will trade for a CH on both ends.
Millia becomes so amazingly good when you finally get down her tandem top frc during rush downs.
Not really. While her S Disc FRC has some uses, I’d rather use the meter for her other FRCs and FBs. If it was that godly, we’d see it being used a lot more often in all those match vids, but unfortunately nope. Besides, Millia has some good options during her rushdown to keep the pressure going besides using S Disc FRC…
2s beats just about all of her jump ins. Learn how to bait the counters; this matchup is extremely different from any other match up in the game. However, since the majority of slayer’s pokes are safe, you can play all kinds of mind games with her. Command grab when you can. If she does a gatling into iad pressure, you can get a free 2s ch for huge damage, with or w/o tension. Playing her takes alot of practice and getting used to. What a whore. I wish I had a character that never had to guess :-/

Probably because most of the match vids nowadays feature Kaqn’s Millia which isn’t close to as good as Woshige’s or Nakamura’s. I’m sure you’ve seen the videos where Nakamura destroys using S Disc FRC. The frame advantage is pretty cool for pressure game. I mean come on, don’t you like doing this?
While it is good, her fb discs are sooo much better as well as her other frc’s as TGS stated. Don’t get me wrong, they’re great to have in your bag of tricks for mixup purposed, but doing said frc everytime you get 25% is such a waste when you can do so much more and potentially do big damage off of it.

I know that already though. It’s just that in some of her block strings, she ends up getting pushed back. So when I need to get in again I use it. I’d rather FB Disc too on knockdown. I do it every time I can. The damage done during the cross up and follow up combo is worth it. Not to mention I gold burst (aka Cajun Burst) most of the time :P.
You can try ending your strings with jump cancellable moves and go for tk mixups. This works a lot better than you think because people seem to block low alot when fighting Millia in fear of getting sweeped. You can catch people with tk s pin, tk fb disc, tk badmoon (frc on block for even more mixup), or even iad crossup pin, badmoon, fb disc, yadda yadda.
slayer cannot beat j.HS if you are spaced correctly. you must BDC air throw. 2S WILL beat it if the baiken scrubs out on the ground and you are below her.
