After cS 2D tatami you can FRC the tatami than jSD adPD land fS jD in corner and its better to save the tension for FRC and RC
Yo man! Long time no see. I switched to Jam a while back, so maybe I can help you out with her AC incarnation. I wouldn’t say you need to start from scratch, but a couple of things have changed since #R. You’ve probably noticed her old 6H cartwheel is different. The first hit is now a throw-invincible move with tons of frame advantage on hit or block. Since it’s throw-invincible, it makes a good meaty if you’re close to the opponent on their wakeup. You can link a number of moves if it hits, like 6P, 2P, or 2D.
Also, her kicks no longer cancel into one another without having some charges. For example, in #R you could do 236K-623K-214K, but in AC, you can only cancel any of them into any of the charged versions (like 236K-charged 236K, or 623K-charged 236K). Charging 236K is what most AC Jam players focus on, which brings them to the corner for her most damaging combos. The second hit of 6H (just press H again) causes wallstick, and she has a loop with it. After 6H-H, you can do 2H-6H-H and possibly a third if they can’t tech.
She has two Force Breaks, 236S-D and 22D. 236S-D is a fast puffball that causes wallstick and sends them flying. It does huge damage and stun, and it’s also cancellable into any of her charged kicks. 22D just lets you charge two kicks at once by pressing two buttons afterward. I don’t see 22D used very often, though. If you haven’t already, check out the Jam Basics thread on dustloop.com:
You can do that!!! Jesus, I think I need to start watching more match/combo videos and all… Yet another special kick cancel that i didn’t know about:sad:
What is Jam’s impossible dust? I have been doing 5D->9S->214K. If I do it right, it seems like the victim floats down a bit slower, while if i do it too slow, hey hit the floor pretty fast and flip out. I’m assuming that is a way of doing the ID, anyways…
Let me see here- Jumping S, D-(Roman Cancel?)->Air Dash P, D-Land->F+S–>jumping D
no RC after D, just FRC the tatami.
close S->2D->RFC tatami->jS.->jD->fall->AD jP.->j.D->land->far S->j.D
just saying that you save meter for FRC and RC
yeah what big bad mog said, kinda wierd timing at first but still nothing difficult
Probably a re-release of AC in Japan with the bug fixes that the american release has, either that or a new story mode :looney:
but it’s more likely the first thing I said.
btw how ya been?
Bet you it’s a combination of both.
Toki v.s. Eddie, Place your bets now gentlemen
FATAL KO FINISH!

how is that gonna be $10 more than the first one. when US was only $30? i bought a jap ps2 to play guilty and it turns out i need a US one. good thing we got an arcade cab here.
it should come with a dizzy hug pillow
I know what you really meant to say
it should come with a hug pillow with dizzy on the front and baiken on the back
i like to switch it up sometimes
or how about jellyfish pirate costume dizzy on front and battle costume dizzy on back
I’d rather have a super deformed figure than a hug pillow
The correct notation would be whatever into ground tatami FRC j.S j.D, ad j.P j.D (fastfall, land), f.5S jc j.D
Against many characters you can actually land and do 6HS iad j.P j.S j.D but the timing is harder. Also, it’s around the same or less damage than doing a sj j.SD, highest ad SD and catch them with another j.D before you land, but that is pretty difficult as well. In general, especially if you have tension, you should just do j.SD SD vs most characters, with the FRC after that last j.D if you are close enough and if their hitbox is big enough to catch them with j.tatami mat before they land to loop again. On some characters like Johnny, you have very limited options as for connecting after you backdash, usually you want to j.PD, and against some others like pot or faust you can almost always add in more hits after your airdash, like doing j.SPSD ad SPSD or SPKD.
regular size figure is good too. i need someone to keep my dizzy fig company. :looney:
