If anyone wants to check on the characters I said it doesn’t work on that would be much appreciated. My execution is far from great.
I gave up on that idea because it was too hard to do. Short post, I wrote a long one but hit the stupid back button on my mouse and lost it.

I just toght of the idea and now I can do it almost 100%.
What you, on a crouching ryu, is: c.lp (or lk, doesn’t matter) three times, now do the dp motion and with the same timing you would link a fourth light attack, press lk~lp with kara-throw timing. Voila, now it combos on crouchers very easy. You know how crossup MK, c.lk, c.mp xx RJ whiffs, you’ve seen the vid. If you link it it doesn’t and plinking makes it very easy.
Don’t get cocky with it tho, it can still whiff at max range, linking just reduces the risk a lot.
Another caution!
If you have full super bar, be careful of being sloppy with the DP motion, the unwanted super could come out and it doesn’t link off lights. Be extra sure to end the motion with DF and not F.
Just to clarify about the neutral super wall-bounce potential, absolutely none of the elbows can hit, iirc. The way it was set up was a training dummy jumping up and down, I launched the super from full screen, Adon jumped and met Dan in the air, and then I could hit the RJ. Like I said, a bit funny, but there it is. Maybe someone a bit more clever than me can work it into something more.
I think its pretty dumb that capcom adds a “wallbounce” mechanic, but anyone with a wallbounce can’t benefit from unless the hit that wall bounces is naked and comboless
excluding juri since her dive kick hits naked, but Gouken like the only way to combo off Goukens wallbounce is if ts a clean Denjin and no fancy combo. Dumb idea. It’s like capcom didn’t finish the mechanic,
Since when is a crossup into super a bad thing? I mean, it’s bad if you want to save the super, but if you didn’t want to land a huge combo, I’d just stick to the B&B.
fellow Adonskis… i was in the training room earlier and found that n.mk jk xx mk.rj fadc u2 does more damage than n.mk… jk crlk xx mk.rj fadc u2…
i was practicing on sagat because it seemed i had to hit ryu right in the bellybutton hole in the corner to get the mkrj after the tk. hopefully this hasnt been posted already?
are you sure about that? how does punches do most dmg?
i just went to do training and did all 3 of em
Kicks = 350
Punches= 310
Nothing=320
or some shit around there but kicks does more dmg imo.
Also i used to main guile before i switched to adon and adon’s S.FP works almost the same as Guiles, ( not sure if someone posted this already ) but against larger hit boxes like Abel, Sagat, Bison(I think), and Hakan, You can Counter hit S. FP and combo it with another S. Fp.
ahh i see, i usually just press punch once to get the follow up. I didn’t know if u mash it during the follow up, it would do more dmg. Thanks for clarifying.
So I’ve been watching the new matches between Gamerbee and gameinn and I noticed than whenever Gamerbee manages to land the EX AJK juggle he opts for standing RH. Is RH the better option as opposed to RJ? Cuz whenever I try the post-EX AJK juggle Rising Jag it hits 50/50 so I set myself up for a bumrush half the time.
Might be his strategy. Standing roundhouse will cause the opponent to land on their feet, and allow further pressure, but it still pushes them back. A knockdown with RJ won’t necessarily leave him in a good position for a crossup.
I’m pretty sure he does this only off weird unpredictable juggle states like ex jk or ex jt because it’s more reliable. He finishes FADC RJ with another RJ. If he doesn’t have ultra. I’m not sure why people call HK a reset. Saying something is a reset involves a good setup to reset the combo counter. HK just puts both chars in neutral position.
Actually if you want to crossup ending juggles with LK JK is perfect. Doesn’t matter against chars that are free on wakeup tho. Might as well go for MK RJ.
In other news my game has gone to total shit since I made the effort to better integrate plinking into my b&bs. I lost like 500 pp haha. Can’t seem to win anything anymore. Ah well it’ll come soon enough.
Those EX JT juggles are hard to predict, and if I try to mash out an RJ, I always get JK.
I haven’t even had an opportunity to try plinking. My life is entering a state of total insanity in the next month. Maybe this wasn’t the best year to start going to Evo. :4\ I’ll be representing the Jagga though.
So yesterday during the course of my gaming i was able to hit someone out of the air with ex ground jag kick, both hits connected, but they were still in a juggle state and i got a full lk rising jaguar for a 4 hit combo. Gonna do some testing and find out why they didn’t get knocked down and if it’s fadcable into ultra.
If you can LK RJ you should be able to just ultra. Cause if you hit them with one hit of the EX AJK (ie: IA EX JK) You can straight up ultra their face
umm i dont think they get knocked down if you hit them in the air lol, and no if you put them in a juggle state and you hit them with RJ, you won’t be able to FADC into ultra cause you can only put your opponent into juggle state for one hit and thats it for adon from my experience.
I don’t know if anyone has brought this up, but any character that tk lk jk - ultra works on crouching the hk version works on standing and crouching and is easier to combo into the ultra after. I think the tk lk version is still the best, because of the hitbox, but if you’re going to punish gief or abel for doing a command grab why not use hk?
Also, I can’t get over how badly I want fr. st. lp to link into fr. st. hp. It would be so beautiful.
I also brought this up earlier, but it’s been bothering me so badly, and no one really said anything to me… Why is it that if I do a bnb xx rj fadc tk ex jk it does not give me the untechable, but if I combo it off neutral j. mk or hit it clean, it does. I hate that for three bars all I get is a flashy combo! I’m under the assumption that it has something to do with them being in juggle. adsfjls;dfj
