Wow, this is amazing. I have a question though.
I’ve been trying C. Viper and I was wondering if it was possible to get some characters TOO high in the gekiro?
Besides making the last hit whiff of course.
EDIT: Nvm, I tried TC1 instead of TC2 and got it on the first try. This is amazing. Awesome job!
I wish I could contribute something…
Yes, it is possible to do it too high. If you make the last hit whiff then you can wait for 1 frame and go MK Oga across the screen. Hits all Ryu sized characters and below as long as they tech as soon as they can. If you fail then it doesn’t cross-up.
I added Adon and guy to the TC1 list aswell since it works for them too, and it is way easier then the TC2 ones. Also I should say that many of these can be done from various combos, all of the TC1 ones listed can be done with a j.mk jump in or crane j.mk jumpin cross-up beforehand etc.
EDIT: Just had a few games against a Bison and this shit is paying off big time already. He got hit be the quickstand oga cross-up setup and then in following games he didn’t use quickstand and I used the non-quickstand setup LOL.
If you do TC2 xx LK Gekiro very high on Sakura (doesn’t tech) and whiff a crane cr.HK, MK Oga may be a cross-up or not depending on how high you launched her. In both cases you end up on the other side after making her block, so it is pretty safe.
Pretty similar with Akuma, except you’re launching him almost med level (his head is very slightly above yours) and you whiff cr.HK, MK Oga is an unblockable. I have been failing at LK Oga unblockable on Akuma, but this one is much easier to do.
Same goes with Cammy whiffing cr.HK and doing MK Oga, except her head is exactly on level with your head. I never got the unblockable to work with LK Oga, this one is reliable yet has a small window. It easily becomes a cross-up or a non-crossup, but either way you land on the other side after she blocks.
= HK Gekiro finish setups =
Rufus: st.HP xx HK Gekiro - cr.HK whiff - MK Oga - juggle high (unblockable)

No setup
Gen: No setup, period.
Dee Jay: No normal can combo into HK Gekiro.
OK, so a problem with his unblockable setup would be that in most cases you cannot do it as a meaty or the opponent is able to block it as a cross-up. It means that it is crouchable. So you need to train the opponent to NOT crouch.
I finally found a easy setup with TC2 lk gekiro for Yun if he quickstands:
**Yun: **MK oga - juggle medium/ low (slightly below Gens waistline/legs or lower)
Added to the big list aswell.
EDIT: TC1 lk gekiro: juggle high > mk oga works on Cammy aswell if she quickstands! Added.
EDIT2: TC1 lk gekiro: juggle high (highest possible) > mk oga works on Oni too if he quickstands! Added.
I want TC2 xx HK Gekiro to be a universal combo. NOW.
All this info is kind of overload I’m sooo lost =\ are their any videos of say 1 of these setups. I need a visual because I don’t understand SF4 lingo yet =(
I recorded one of my newly found unblockable, but crouchable setup on Guy (no quickstand, but it will be an untechable knockdown after 2012). Quality including frame rate is moot, but it shows what it shows. I’m just too lazy to do multipass conversion since the program I have showed a mysterious error =[.

Ok now this all starts to make sense.
I can’t wait for AE2012. I really hope HK gekiro after tc2 will work on everyone after the second batch of changes they’ll make (atleast they said they’d do another beta testing).
EDIT: TC1 lk gekiro **Blanka: **LK oga - juggle high gekiro (added to the big list)
ok, so if your opponent quickrises and does instant jump forward+normal to stop you from wall diving, i just found out you can counter the next time with lk oga stop, and you’ll have time to do a regular hk giekro as an AA as soon as you recover
jump back+normal should be able to be countered with the diagonal close ceiling drop :u:,:ub:,:db:.(dont know the exact name), but i have to test it
jump back normal can be countered with diagonal ceiling drop but it foten trades aswell so it’s not recommended as a finisher if you and your opponent both have no life left.
In other news, these oga cross-ups are golden. On most characters you can easily do them after super aswell so that’s cool.
So I’ve been looking to not only up my game with all these Oga cross-up setups we’ve found but also Ultra and super OS after a forward throw like forward throw dashx2 into crane j.hp OS crane U1. But I cannot get this to work for some reason. I would apreciate it if someone could explain how they do this (when and which buttons they press) because I can obviously get safejump to work (for example I tested the OS crane U1 against Rufus and I can safejump his EX messiah kick but ultra never comes out…) but any super or ultra? Forget it
I just suck at OS in general though except crouch /throw tech or divekick OS’es.
The idea is that the OS will only come out if your jump attack whiffs, so practice the timing by deliberately whiffing some jump attacks. Neutral jump without being near the opponent, attack in air with normal timing, and do the OS during your landing frames. If you had actually made contact with the jump attack, the pause would mean you’d still be in the air and the OS wouldn’t have come out (unless you did it way too slow.) For OS ultras, it may help if you do something like QCF*2+j.HP, 3K. Another way is QCF+j.HP, QCF+3K.
Also, if you’re only using crouch-tech style option selects, you should really try learning to do OS sweeps whenever you go for the hit confirm bnb. Just c.LK, c.LP+HK, TC2. Gen can catch almost any back dash in the game, it’s way too good to ignore.
I also recorded the one against Viper using TC1. Just trying my hand at recording.
-PURGED-
EDIT: For some reason I didn’t even think about recording Gen doing it. I usually do this for everything, but forgot about it. Video purged x.x
Gen oga cross-ups after mantis super > gekiro with quickstand:
Ken: HK gekiro juggle medium/high - MK oga
Ryu: LK gekiro juggle high - MK oga
E.ryu: LK gekiro juggle high - MK oga
Chunli: LK gekiro juggle medium - MK oga (her head the exact same height as Gens)
Rufus: LK gekiro juggle high - MK oga (last hit needs to hit his feet/ankles)
Blanka: HK gekiro juggle high - LK oga
C.viper: HK gekiro juggle medium/high - MK oga (last hit her head is slightly above Gens)
Honda: HK gekiro juggle medium/high - MK oga (last hit his head needs to be fully above Gens)
Ibuki: LK gekiro juggle low - MK oga
Makoto: LK gekiro juggle low - MK oga
Juri: LK gekiro juggle high - MK oga
ELFuerte: LK gekiro juggle medium - MK oga (same height as Gen)
Bison: LK gekiro juggle high - MK oga
Dudley: LK gekiro juggle medium/high - MK oga (His head needs to slightly above Gens)
Balrog: HK gekiro juggle medium/high - MK oga (start off at medium height and end last hit on his knee)
Yang: LK gekiro juggle low - MK oga
Feilong: LK gekiro juggle low - MK oga
Sakura: LK gekiro juggle low - MK oga
Adon: HK gekiro juggle high - MK oga (hit his ass on the last hit!)
Hakan: LK gekiro juggle medium/high - MK oga (His head is slightly higher then Gens, last hit isin his balls lol)
Dan: LK gekiro juggle high - MK oga
On other characters it simply didn’t work in any way or they were too unreliable. Still a pretty decent list of cross-ups from super to get that maximum damage.
I find mantis super setups partially unreliable since the distance may vary depending on how far your opponent was from you, and how far you were away from the corner. However,
Viper: HK gekiro juggle med-high - LK Oga (unblockable if her ass is right above Gen’s kicking leg’s foot) from midscreen.
Naturally these do not work in the corner but I tested these with c.mk>super and also various other combos like s.mk> super and c.mp>super so it’s safe to say it’ll be pretty reliable.
I see. Does it have to be in exactly midscreen or can it be a bit off?
