GG’s to everyone I played with today. Going to GoW2 party at 8 but I’m going on 4 hours of sleep, need a power nap haha. 
I’ve only won 1 of the 6 chainsaw battles I had. Then there could be the possibility of autofire. :shake:
Ha I did boom shot and killed 4 people 2 rounds in a row at the same time. You would figure they would learn after the 1st one lol. Then they called me a boom whore afterwards. Haha, ggs with everyone I played with today. Horde on hardcore is still crazy! We on wave 30 now at least.
Stun on nades was a good decision because in the first one they were 100% useless and being stunned by a smoke and getting chainsawed is not broken you just need to play better.

Bought the game about an hour ago, but probably won’t start untill tomorrow afternoon…
does anyone else notice how random shot gun damage is?? some times i’m like right next to someone and holding L on their center mass and they dont die, other times someone will be a good 5 to 10 feet away and kill me with 3 or 4 shot gun shots.
also, they should have made it so when you shot gun someone, they fall back a bit… people rush up to me when i’m unloading shotgun rounds and chainsaw me.
Haven’t you noticed the stopping power mechanic it’s really obvious the more bullets you get hit with the slower you become so naturally an automatic weapon like lancer slows down an opponent more then a shotty can.

Don’t rush through that stage and you will be fine. Haven’t hit up MP yet, my boy and I are trying to get through the game first. My initial impression of the game wasn’t too good. I felt it was too slow (got to the end of Act 1) last night, Act 2 picked it up though. Had a nice fire fight with much death and more bloody boots. The “inside” stage was weird…reminded me of Contra (I think someone else made that connection)
Did anyone pick off all the drones when Marcus said “Anyone need Sniping practice”? I missed one and ran out of bullets, wanted to know if you get anything for hitting all of them.
One complaint is there doesn’t seem to be enough ammo around…I’ve gone to my pee-shooter alot so far.
Horde mode is fun, but standard MP is fucking trash just like in Gears 1.
last boss is fucking weak, and story felt incomplete.
Really? Its the exact opposite for me, theres TOO much ammo around here >_>
Beat Campaign today. Better than the original, but Hardcore solo definitely had its frustrating moments. I hate all the vehicle sections 'cept the last one, and Hardcore = hard this time, instead of Normal like the last game. It has some pretty epic moments , although I was expecting some giant full-scale battles with me, my squad, and dozens of Carmine-soldiers and Locust battling it out. Also, that Skorge boss battle sucked. RAAM was the only cool boss of the last game, and although none really get that good, at least the last one FEELS kinda cool. 8.5/10 for Campaign
Beat Horde on Normal as well. The waves 1-10 are the same, but they getting better stats every 10 waves. At the end, everybody gets 2.5 accuracy/health/damage. I and four other guys beat it on Subway, camping in the wear open area near the sniper/torque spawn. Its really is gaming perfection to have you and some friends shouting out enemy positions, ammo locations, push forward, fall back, etc. Its just really good. 10/10 for Horde
Havent played much of the other modes, 'cept Wingmen which is pretty cool but I I don’t like Execution.
Also, matchmaking is slow as hell!
Playing co-op through Campaign today and beat it, and i gotta say this game is really epic.
Felt bad for Dom though but damn last parts of the game was too fun. Riding the Reaver and controlling the Brumak was just awesome. Though the final boss was a little anti-climatic. I was expecting more.

MP is gdlke except for it taking almost 5 minutes to find a match and wingman is terrible if you don’t have a friend cuz if you get matched up with a scrub you are going to lose =/.

I have to say this might be game of the year for me. I haven’t been concentrating on the campaign because I assume it’s short. But multiplayer is just too fun.
But since this is my first gears of war I suck at the game. I played the 1st one like once or twice for like 2 mins didn’t impress me. This is so much different. Good Job, Epic Games
From what I read it’s going to be a part 3 that continues from what happened at the end.
