It’s um, exactly like part one. Just a couple more “fatalities”. Gameplay exactly the same, graphics a little cleaned up but it has some graphic pop in like Halo 2 did when it was first released. In fact, the only reason im interested in playing is because i want to get into the story. I want a backstory on the Locusts. Like why are they there, what are they? You know? Other than that, nothing really new besides maps and a couple of game modes. Here’s to hoping something makes my jaw drop.
Dat Horde mode is seriously business. Playing with PUGS is really tough, can’t even get past 10 sometimes because there’s no teamwork.
Me to, I was really interested in the story (lol). Im in the driving the centaur (:mad:) stage, and so far yeah pretty awesome. Story is very interesting, and jaw dropping? Yeah there’s a few of those moments in there :woot:
The quotes in the game are hilarious! The game feels like gears one + saving private ryan + dead space. Pretty impressive
the take cover against thin air glitch still exists
and i dont know if they meant to do this but you can pretty much cancel your slide now, so as your sliding to a wall you can stop half way, it makes that whole slide shooting thing alot more annoying, but i guess it isnt so bad since the shotgun is nerfed, but i think its good if u wanna chainsaw someone

I don’t know if this has already been covered but I can not connect to public xbl games. My NAT setting are set to “strict” and I’m not sure on how to change it to open.
I am not using a router, the connection is directly from my modem to xbox.
Anyone have any ideas?

Yes the game isn’t perfect but no game will ever be perfect. That’s why I just ignore the little things and keep having fun with this game. Yea it’s annoying at times, but if you let it bother you too much then you won’t enjoy the game properly. I had fun with this games when I played it thursday into friday with kyo84 and a bunch of my other friends, and can’t wait to get back on soon.

Blind firing is nerfed, shotgun is nerfed, chainsaw is buffed(
why), etc. All the changes fucked with my playstyle, almost never aimed my machine gun till they were almost done and would never aim my booms(now it blows you up alot if you try to blindfire it, and im not the only one having this problem). Hopefully when i get used to it ill like it better, but the way it is now i wouldnt be suprised to not be playing this much in a few months. Alot of other bullshit with the matchmaking and just overall setup but hopefully itll be ironed out.

gears 2 is seriously choppy. theres even more glitches and it even slows down at times but still a fucking good game!!
but I still can’t compare which gears is better after I complete gears 2 and play some multiplayer then I will decide

The duels are BS, my friend and I got in one, he says he waited like 3 seconds to press b, and I’m pressing b like and idiot…:shake:
But you play Mega Man or Have you ever mashed a dhc hailstorm on dat marvel, I assume you do? You should never lose a button mashing contest in GOW.
Blindfiring is harder to do but unless the guy is on the otherside of whatever you’re taking cover behind and you have a shotty out then blindifring is basically useless. How is chainsaw buffed? How did the changes fuck with your playstyle? in geasr1 you just roll around and spam shotty that was the best strat.
<3 the MP too fuckng good, new modes are a lot better then the first 4, and in MP everything feels right going from cover to cover or cover to run or hop over cover flows as it should and all the weapons+stages make for intense battles.
Shield is still hella retarded:woot: I still want an update for the few glitches here and there and yeah a lot of people I played with have the same problem finding matches but join my game and it won’t take that long.
I think the nade system is dumb. Let’s give people a better way to hide. And putting a stun on the smokes is dumb too, unless, they should’ve made it where you have to pick it up. Everybody spams nades in multi.
In the first one I just had to worry about getting tagged with nades and now everyone and there momma uses them to turtle too much. Stun and running chainsaw is broken.
Aside from that and having to take like an hour to get a math, alls good.
