Also, there’s more of the manga and it’s still ongoing, so there’s plenty more characters/monsters/fucked up situations to see in the manga as well. If you liked the concept from what you saw, definitely check out the manga. Just be forwarned: it may get a little too ridiculous at some points.

Took a year off from these series and was pleasently surprised the Osaka arc ended(Miura take notes, you fuck). I don’t know if Lone Hiryu Saga still posts here, but unlike him I enjoyed the Osaka arc and knew we were going to get answers. Reika cracks me the fuck up and Nishi is still my favorite character in this series followed by the Bullie’s leadere (forget the name, but he collected teeth) and Kaze.
Umm…yeah nothing else to report. I should peep the anime for shits and giggles someday…

i stopped reading last time in the middle of the osaka arc (some DBZ-esque shit zzzz) but i just caught up and wow shit just got real
of course the story is so incoehrent at this point i just want to see TnA, blood, cool tech, and epic displays of badassery

maybe incoherent wasnt the right word but it feels like a lot of the things in the story happen just for the sake of happening. like the vampires. oh theyre bad guys, see look how bad they are they kill some of the gantz team. then, after the horrid mess that was the osaka arc, it seems like the author decided vampires were too boring compared to godlike aliens so he just decided to stop writing about them. the last mission (where the gantz fucked up) seemed like an obvious excuse for the author to get rid of characters that he ran out of ideas for.
dont get me wrong i like the series as a whole. i just think the story takes a few too many detours when it tries to go from point A to B.
