Wait, by the one character rule, does that mean we’re stuck with the same team for MvC2 the entire time (and what about switch trick)? Crap, hope I don’t fight too many Cables.
portland comming through!
A: Sounds like it.
B: If it’s in tournament mode, doesn’t sound like a problem. If it’s not in tournament mode, you wouldn’t get to use it if you win. Probably only really matters for Magnus.
You must have missed the boat where everybody but Row abandoned Cable to take up with some combination of Mag/Storm/Sent.
Went to Gameworks.com, couldn’t find where to sign up. Is that feature still slated to go live today? What info do we need to have on hand to sign up? Can I have someone else do the on-site registration for me, or do I need to visit the location in person?
The online feature is supposed to go live tomorrow.
I just checked with GameWorks corporate and they are having problems getting the online registration to work. The sign-up page keeps crashing when somebody enters their info. They are going to try and make it work tomorrow so we will have to wait and see.
At this point the fall back will be to have the sign-up form available for download, but that doesn’t help much for people that are outside Seattle.
Right now the best idea would be to sign-up at GameWorks in Seattle. If you have a friend in Seattle YES - they can sign you up.
I will post tomorrow when I have more info about the online sign-up form.

On the character rules, I like what Devastation does, the winner must continue to use the same SF4 character / MvC2 team, the looser may change his character / team if they loose, but must stick with the new character/team if they continue to win.
I think that is the best way to keep this tournament interesting.
Let me know what you think.
Brian
Along with the game, good luck with that:rofl:
wow this is awesome, thank you SO much for setting this up. I only wish I still lived in washington.
Um, how do we sign up online?
And when I do the Replay Rewards Login, that doesn’t seem to let me get to anywhere.
I find the website very confusing.
oh the irony.
Wicked, can’t wait to see what NW’s finest have to offer.
Man, hopefully they fix the SFIV machine for this, lmao. Friggin machine reset.
I think this is a horrible idea.
The idea of only choosing one team to play was interesting enough, but if I feel that someone just knows M. Bison’s match up and I change it up to Chun-Li, then I run into Mandel or Mickey, I’m DEFINATELY not trying to start a round off with Chun against them (Not yet at least)
Keep it where the one character/team you pick your run that through the tournament, or just set it up so that when you first step up to the machine pick whoever, then winner must keep same character loser can opt to switch, but the character decision doesn’t carry on over to a next match.
I think im going to try and participate here. I just gotta see if I cant get that day off…shit.
Doesn’t look like the registration’s gone live on the website yet. Can anyone confirm whether you can register on site? If so, and if someone who knows me plans on passing by, please sign me up for Marvel.
This is bad in news for me. The online sign-up will not work. I have not heard anything back from GameWorks. Right now the only way to sign-up for this event is to visit the GameWorks in Seattle.
As for the character rules, I will keep what is already written down. So YES you get to pick one character or team and you have to stick with that team the whole way through the tournament. I am not going to change the rules now. I thought I might change this, but in the end it only creates confusion.
Here is a link to an old sign-up form if you want to print this at home. This is the only sign-up form I could find for GameWorks on thier site.

Good Luck to all that sign-up and I look forward to seeing you at the event.
Have a good day
Brian
I get the following message when I click the link:

Also you do not need to fill out the part for Drivers License or Social Security number, we only need that info if you are a cash prize winner.
I already signed up for this shit yesterady after a movie. Hopefully only 6 other people sign up and I have a chance at that scrilla. Come see me.
You are sending me mixed messages sir.
You sign up for SF4 or MvC2? or Both?
