So im looking at the sign up sheet, what the hell do they need our social security for? Is the social security number really necessary? Also can we just mail this or do we actually have to turn it in person?

Just to repeat you do not need to fill out the parts for Social Security or Drivers License info . That info is required by the federal government because GameWorks is giving away cash prizes.
Yes you can mail in the form, but you are required to pay $10 cash entry fee for each tournament.
I know its a pain in the butt not having online registration, and I wish I could do more to make that happen.
Pablo is correct, GameWorks does plan on holding more tournament at the locations that these tournaments are successful in. So if this tournament is successful there will be more tournaments in Seattle, and hopefully for a bigger cash prize next time.

Are there flyers on the machines or around GameWorks for this? Just curious since I know it can be hard to advertise these events. 
Yes, there will be. Capcom had to approve the artwork. Sega working with Capcom thats like mixing oil with water.
Capcom just approved the artwork today so you should see flyers and banners start to pop up at GameWorks by Tuesday and Wednesday.

Yes you can register on Friday the 24th, and if there are any spots open on the days of the tournament you will be able to register then as well. I want to make sure all 64 spots are filled for both tournaments.

Airthrow I wish we had online reg as well, but there were a number of logistical problems that GameWorks ran into that a normal tournament does not. Remember GameWorks is a corporate entity so things have to abide by the law or they could get fined which is the last thing we want.
We are going to work on online registration, just not sure when that would happen.
I talked to GameWorks today, they are all setup to enter people into the tournament. They have sign-up forms at their location so there is no need to print your own.
As of right now they have about 10 people signed up, so at this point this is easy $500 for a person that wants to enter one of the tournaments.
I use to work at this GameWorks about 10 years ago, and then if you came after 7pm you could quickly park in the alley behind GameWorks, get signed up and then go back to your car without having to pay for parking. I do not recommend staying in the alley for more than 10min though. Also after 7pm you can park in the loading zones on the street for 1/2 hour without to much hassle.

It’s a figure of speech man. A common saying. A phrase. Meaning that if I were to choose who I thought would win the tourney, I would choose either Cole or Future. This is not an actual bet so pump your brakes. Also, why in the hell would I say that if I intended on going to this event? So I could go and bet with you and not enter? I posted that because I’m not going. I think until you can accurately comprehend what people are saying over the internet, that you should refrain from quoting/paraphrasing them.
