i think the branh vs bananas thing has enough hype behind it Eddie
Mag, I’ll bring a copy of Alpha 3.
Juan, you KNOW I’m gonna be on that KOF 12!
No homo to the max @ your sig
Personally, I don’t even know what or where the hype is. I just wanted to see if someone wanted to bet more than $2.83 , which is the bet Shadow Ace and MetalMike have.
Yeah, that would be excellent. Lastly, you already know at July’s Revival King of Fighters 12 will be there.
I’ve been watching the Arcade Inf casuals for KOF12, this game looks like its going to be so much fun. The matches looks very aggressive, should be interesting to see if it holds to that after a few more months.
And seriously, what kind of roids has Benimaru been taking? Dude’s arms are freaky now…
I’m definitely gonna be on kof.
He hasn’t been taking roids out right. He’s just been getting residue amounts from hanging out with ralf and clark. Those dudes are roided for real

you know I am son…yo im trying to get a recording device for my laptop so maybe we can record some matches…with school starting soon I have two months of freedom…
anyone try some rockstar? its an energy drink but it got me hype as hell for no reason… I couldnt sleep and was focused all day
im getting better with this stick to but still not tourney worthy…dp will not come out for me on the 2p side no matter how many times I try
i’ve been playing a lot of guile in SF4 lately, and like Jason said, you definitely can’t let yourself be backed into a corner. You have to give yourself space to take yourself out of crossup/jumpin situations. While just blocking and trying to tech is a good last resort, it is very dangerous against people that are looking for option select techs ex. delayed normals to bait out CH, boxer tick fake out into cr. mp x dash straight, delayed DP fadc Ultra from ryu/sagat, nemo string from chun li, etc…
You should mainly just be cautious of meaty crossups on wakeup. If people are doing short blockstrings then going for a crossup (like Eddie in that one waba vid), jump back with normals, vert jump and airthrow (which is godly in this game, learn the range, its stupid good), bazooka knee to get away, etc…
I’m not claiming to be a guile master or whatever, but let me know if you have need any matchup advice, especially against rog (rog zombie hates my guile lol)
ribbit ribbit

ggs man. i dont know why i keep missing that damn cr. jab, cr.short xx Headbutt combo.its like a fucking curse.::looney::looney::mad::chainsaw:
Well that Waba vid of me playing Eddie wasn't really a good indication of how I normally play. I'm not sure why I let him get so many jump-ins against me, but I can generally stop that. For some reason any vids of me playing that leak onto youtube show me looking like a total scrub. I had several casual matches and other tourney matches that day where I wasn't playing like a total scrub. But oh well. Random jumoing annoy me like hell, so anyone who keeps jumping in on me usually throws me off.
As far as crossups, I just like to dash under them if it's at the right distance and I can time them correctly. As a matter of fact in Japanese vids, that's basically their main way to escape crossovers. Unforunately with Guile, you're going to be put in a guessing predicament, that's just how the game is. Guile, since HF hasn't had the zoning/turtling tools to keep people away all day. However in other games, Gule had great pokes, incredibly throw ranging, and pretty decent damage up close. In this game, his poke suck. I really don't have a problem with a shitty flash kick. Other anti-airs have been nerfed too. Including DPs, the problem is that you can still followup trades which is retarded. Which make shoto anti-airs seem so Godlike, and it make Guile's flashkick seem so useless.
Since I've been using Guile exclusively since the game came out, I don't really use the flashkick that often. I know at a specific distance it will hit, but it takes precise timing. Guile still does okay damage, and while his nerfed poke really mess up his footsies (and random DP mashing as well), you just have to be a little more mindful of your pokes. Guile does has tools, his game just relies more on reacting on time, and reacting right. He's not a total waste like Sean in 3s. It's just that his tools are harder to bring out.
As far as matchup info is concerned. I’m not scared of Balrog anymore. The matchup is 5/5. And while he use to scare me, I know what to do against him. Guile has tools to beat anything boxer will do, make it just as dangerous for Balrog as it is for Guile. I could see Sim giving me problems, but there aren’t really any Sim players out there. My main issues are with the bitch Chun-Li and Ryu at this point. Jason L murdered me with Gief, but I don’t generally have problems with Gief, just Jason L using Gief. Too bad you can’t be at ATL REvival this weekend, really would have liked to meet you. Thanks for the advice
