I was only defending him because I thought his situation was similar to mine in a way meaning at cali vs texas, somebody posted hating when it was time for SHOWTIME but in the beginning everybody was on board like if everything is cool! By all means I never meant to defend any scam artists. I get my money the fair way, NEVER engaged in anything of this status. 1 last thing, Manny texted me and told me he was going to send me the ticket info last week and didnt so I was waiting but then when people in this thread started posting links, It all started to make sense. This is a mastermind SCAM and everybody just got tooken for a ride/ROBBED so I just wanted to clear that up so people wouldnt think I was defending a CON ARTIST. I was defending him on a situation I delt with. Lesson to be learned, speak up before the hype and money is spent or you will have a Shitstorm like the one we are dealing with now…

Correct on both counts. I’m saying that if anyone at MLG was in discussion about moving an event, it would have been me as I plan, book, and operate the events. I have never had discussions with anyone from GAMME about anything, let alone about moving an event. I’m still confused about why we were pulled into this situation, but I would assume it is because we’re an easy scape goat.
I’m really sorry for everyone this affects, situations like this are never easy. Whatever the outcome my only intention in posting in this thread is to try and remove MLG from any association with this unfortunate circumstance.

Because you paid through Paypal you can dispute the charge (which in a case like this it’ll be easy considering you paid for something thats not happening/exists)
Also for the people that bought plane tickets and have no choice but to make a trip out of it, I’m trying to see if the Good people of Fl would throw at least an impromptu tourney so we can at least salvage this…all else fails we’ll just go out drinking and punch Mickey in the face.
If u payed with paypal u can try filing a claim to get $ back if they do not refund, explain the situation in your dispute. It might need to be a certain amount like more than $25 to qualify, I do not remember.

Enough is enough. I’ve added GPX Gaming to the list of tournament promoters to avoid. Manny has been given plenty of opportunities to set the record straight, but now he is MIA. I think it’s pretty clear that GPX Gaming made up this story about MLG.

If that is the case should we even let this thread continue to be posted up here? I think you should edit the first post and make a huge warning in red letters on the top of the first post stating the dangers of attending this tournament alerting other not to be scammed. Unless people visit the last page of the thread they wouldn’t know what they are walking into.
