Funny thing is that Manny has supplied systems and TVs for St. Louis area events a couple times. It’s weird that this would happen. I’m glad I made plans to go to MWC/SB over dropping my whole wallet on GAMME.

I am just curious after reading and absorbing all of this, how many would be interested if POSSIBLY we turned this into a tournament anyways like say Raging Storm Orlando (In other words we being LDA Inc. do a tournament on the same date/s in Orlando)??? I’m just tossing ideas as a way to turn this into something positive for the people that still bought their plane tickets…

Guys, do you want to work with the smash community and get a venue together for a replacement? Hungrybox and I have been working on getting a venue for Smash so people who got their plane tickets aren’t fucked, so why don’t we all just work together? All I would need is some help from FL SRK TO’s if there are any. Let me know, I would love for the communities to come together in a time like this.

my university has a shit ton of room and caters to gaming as it is one of the degrees… im going to ask tomorrow if there is anyway we could rent out a few of the rooms for the event.
This is very possible, especially since DevilDigimon has strong connections in the SmashBoards and Smash community. Let me pass this idea by him and we will talk about this tomorrow and we will see what we can come up with!
Yes I am going to talk to DevilDigimon and see if we can come up with a way for everyone to try our best to salvage this with everyone involved.
Now keep in mind just because it is a Raging Storm tournament, doesn’t mean it would only be SNK games everyone. To those that have been following the tournaments, we promote a variety of games, not just SNK, but Smash Doubles Singles, practically everything you all see on the list currently plus other games like Naruto etc we promote!
BlueFlamingo- That would be appreciate if that would work because if we are all gonna work together to salvage this thing we don’t have a lot of time…but I do believe we CAN make it work…

Its funny how all of this blown up into smokes a couple hours before registration is CUT OFF. So that means all the money is in his account and he is probably done with gaming for good. Man, I could have sworn they locked up madoff but looks like he got cousins that got scams 2. This was his farewell gift to everyone. WOW. Life just gets more interesting by the minute. Was looking forward to meeting some TO’s and relaxing. Oh well, guess we have evo still huh…
Edit: Idea I had that just came to mind. Inkblot should change the thread title to whatever venue that everyone agrees on and do what the smash players did. Say gamme has been canceled, give them the reason and post the venue info below:tup:

No community deserves this, regardless of whether or not it’s mine I would like to help everybody and take care of everyone who already had plans to go down here.
