Future of Nintendo? Bright.. or Dark

Then you are clinically retarded.

Either way, replying to you at length or going into detail on why you’re hilariously wrong is not worth my, or anyone else’s, time.

such huge claims only veils your ignorance. kneel to Nintendo or forever ingest the cesspool you hold so dear to your heart

Holy shit, are we talking about the same Nintendo? The same one that allowed their console to become the actual FACE of the term “Shovelware”?

Nintendo CAN turn it around, but not if they stay on this path.

Also everyone I encountered on Mario Kart Wii was a jerk. They always tried to knock me off the courses :frowning:

Say what you will about Nintendo, but they have yet to try and fuck me over with Day One DLC.

I find it hilarious that I just find this now, though im not surprised, I am KI SHIMA after all

Dude, can’t you read the sign?

Just ignore him, he’ll crawl back into his dark spot and go to sleep eventually.

Because they have no games for it

I can’t read :frowning: why you think I spend so much time on vidyagames?

Does DLC even exist on the Wii besides music for some rhythm games?

No.

EXACTLY.

It is called good design.

Don’t worry Nintendo just forgot about it before because they’re inept. They’ll definitely start doing it now. Just for you.

When/if they do, then they will suck as bad as Microsoft and Sony, and your hatred will finally have some merit.

About that.

It IS coming.

Oh cool, that means they’ll have negative suck points then, because right now Nintendo sucks way worse than MS and Sony by a factor of several billion.

Well then.

Fuck Nintendo.

Fuck modern gaming.

Sod modern gaming.

Sod modern game makers.

And sod modern new kid gamers too.

Because if there wasn’t an audience with willing elastic assholes, this exploitative DLC shit never would have gone down the way it did.

Day One DLC does suck but that’s just a worst case example. Not everyone does it that way, some companies do use DLC to increase the longevity and value of their game by creating rich content after the fact rather than withholding it to use as DLC. It can be very exciting when done right.

There’s still hope. I believe that Nintendo has stated that they are going to have DLC, but that they aren’t going to do that with their first party games because they want their customers to feel that they have purchased a complete game.

[details=Spoiler]Reggie: We’re interested in it to the extent that it makes sense to the consumer. And it’s interesting: I’ve had this conversation with a number of our key developers, and their mentality is, “Reggie, when we sell a game, we want the consumer to feel that they’ve had a complete experience.” Now, in addition, if we want to make other things available, great, and we’ll look at that. But what we’re unwilling to sell a piece of a game upfront and, if you will, force a consumer to buy more later. That’s what they don’t want to do, and I completely agree. I think the consumer wants to get, for their money, a complete experience, and then we have opportunities to provide more on top of that.[/details]

Sadly, that doesn’t mean that third party developers won’t screw us over, but at least it seems that Nintendo will be doing DLC the way we want it; we’ll get the full game experience, and we can pay extra to add to that experience rather than paying for the experience.

Its inevitable though.

I used to miss xbox 360’s community feeling, the fact everyone had a headset made it much more alive than ps3. now that I hear due to xbox’s avatar chat thingy it’s made live less social. this Miiverse thing that WiiU doing is amazing. Nintendo have proven that they know how to strip away the unessentials in order to make navigation and enjoyment second nature

ps3’s move highlighted what a great job nintendo has done with it’s wiimote integration. I have the move I think it’s excellently accurate but it hasn’t got the natural feeling of the wiimote.

I remember when games used to be a social thing. maybe Final Fantasy 7 and Resident Evil is to blame for the state of gaming today, too much copying and not enough progression. FF7 and RE were fantastic prototypes but the focus needs to be towards contributing towards more than one person sharing an amazing experience.

Again, I remind everyone, do not feed this troll. Just ignore him. Don’t reply to his post, don’t acknowledge him in any way, he’s just saying the dumbest things possible to annoy you.
