A deep house mix by me a few weeks ago hope ya’ll enjoy it!

XLR8R occasionally posts some deep house, good enough to follow.

The link no longer works for some reason. Do you have the playlist for this mix?

the link should work, I’ve been updating old tracks of mine this weekend and upping them to SC, which probably didn’t go well with SC’s unstable nature.

Disclosure is fucking gold but I prefer the non MJB version, personally:

So before I start posting, what exactly qualifies as House, or is most dance stuff acceptable here? I noticed you posted Haim so I’m guessing the latter.

Fun fact: Kiesza did that video with a broken rib.

The titles says… “Funky House & oldschool Funk/Disco Music thread

Yes, I am quite aware of what “oldschool Funk/Disco” music is from listening to my parent’s record collection while growing up however.

The meat of the question was “What qualifies as House”? If what you’re looking for is just electronic-based dance music with soulful female vocals, I can work with that.
What confused me was the fact you posted a pop song by Haim in this particular thread.

Just looking for a baseline before posting instead of flooding this place with stuff that doesn’t qualify (although the seperation of the millions of types of electronic dance music is something that likely hurts the scene more than helps, but that’s a discussion for another place and time).
