You stay at mid range where he doesnt get the time to walk behind the boom, thats where u play the MU and thats where u stay at all times. If he walks behind them thats what ex low is for, put him in blockstun at the very least to avoid the mixup, otherwise just block the boom. Guile is known for being weak vs crossups and not being able to break armour easily. Focus attack is a great tool to use against him without a down charge, he has weaknesses, as a character, you can expose and work on. Dieminion is THE Guile, therefore its unrealistic for you to think its the fault of the matchup and not inferior mind games thats losing you games.
Yes. If the guile of all guiles makes the match really hard why would I view the match in any other way.
Just because I can beat yun and yang because scrubx plays them doesn’t mean the matchup is in my favor. But if kazunoko bodies me then that means the best anyone can play that character makes me free.

Ex counter if he’s walking to you at the last minute. If anything i picked up use more counter from you kail.
I find the Guile MU to be slightly in Juri’s favor, she has lots of tools to trick Guile and more options.
He is very vulnerable to FSE mix-ups.
Juri can negate his long range zonning and charge FSE freely, but obviously he has a better fireball game.
SB>walk creates a janken that is in my opinion in Juri’s favor, or even. EX Senpusha, teleport, dash under, j.HP, early j.MP/HK, instant-divekick… If you don’t play the janken and block all the time the match-up is in Guile’s favor imo, but one good guess will put you in an advantageous situation.
He is cross-up free on wake-up so my goal is to score a knockdown and keep going (and charge FSE during zoning phases). Try to score knockdown that will allow you to keep mixing him up (MK Senpusha is a bad idea I believe), similar to Gouki using sweep over shoryuken.
During FSE, even if he blocks Sekku he can’t FlashKick so you can try to cross him up, throwbait or something. Also FSE cl.MP doesn’t whiff on him afaik.

But then can you honestly say your Juri == his Guile. Sounds like you lack knowledge of options and such in the matchup and are determined in thinking its the fault of the matchup. I mean Juri for the most part can jump in on Guile for free provided theres no down charge because he has to respect your ability to divekick his AA, then you have the knockdown and can make some headway. His only option is to meet you air to air, but thats the mind game you have to play because you can stop short your jump arch with divekick and he just jumps up and whiffs air grab or w.e.

You could argue Guile has good matchups against alot of the cast though, it still requires alot of good reads to make the matchup look unwinnable. I cant imagine Juri is worse off than Sakura is against Guile.

When I lose to most characters I feel like I’ve either been outplayed or am just inexperienced against them cause no one plays them. Guile I feel has the ability to pressure Juri without risk and has answers for all of her countermeasures on reaction. The only way I really win is to get lucky and score a knockdown and abuse him on wake up. I never feel like I “beat” Guile so much as I steal matches on occasion.

I don’t know actually, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it safejumps it.
I think the blocking afterwards can get weird though, like you have to block as if you’re landing in front of her or something.
I found some more interesting safejump/fake xup setups yesterday, I’ll try and post some of them when I get home from work so I can double check them.
It loses to EX SBK, unblockables arent safe jumps and ex SBK hits both sides so its pretty free. Though id rather you keep the ambiguous mixups to yourself than posting out in the open, thats hardly going to stop you lol.

I told everyone about fuzzy guard… Now they block it. Now I do things like fireball fadc j.hk fuzzy. Or kasatush into fuzzy guard. I would have never grown if I didn’t have to grow.

liking the twin match up. I think that match up is 5-5 but in juri’s favor now that they twins, yang especially, got nerfed. Good for juri i suppose ^^
