Hey guys. I’m sorry about staying out of the loop for so long, but I thought I would offer my house next weekend if you guys want to play. I could drag a second tv to the basement and we can play whatever if someone wants to bring a second console.

Spencer - I just watched the Chariot Card vid again myself. For some reason it’s not quite how I remembered it but it has been awhile since I seen it. I still love what he did with the Justin vs. Daigo thing using SFA3 in his preview video. :tup:
Anyway it’s still got some neat effects and cool combos. I think while it’s on my mind I will go and watch the Evo Ryu combo video since I’m still out of the loop on that.
Dan - hey it’s all good, the movie wasn’t much to brag about in my mind but then again I wasn’t expecting much going in. The only stuff you missed was some good eats and some good SF4 practice. If you want to host next week, keep us in the loop. We will be very appreciative if that happens, we need any venue to play that we can find.
Also, Dan, just curious what your plans are for the Indy tournament. Just making sure if you are still planning to come or if your plans have changed any. I am still trying to get a better picture of what our driving situation is and we may end up needing two vehicles to fit us all down there. Just let me know if you can’t drive or if you plan on driving or whatever. Again I’m just fitting the pieces of the puzzle together because I have some folks that are in contact with me only on Xbox Live and they are curious what our plans are.

Outside Gamescom today. PS3 Slim is real. Also, Ps3 went down in price 100 bucks (normal ps3’s). and the slim will come out in Sept. It will have a 120 gig HDD and will be $299.

Tekken Tag Tournament - 70/20/10

Yeah seriously…this will probably be the last tournament you’ll ever see with TTT as an official tourney…he better get his ass over there…hell I’ll drive him if I have to.
That’s about four plus hours from my house but I’ve traveled farther for tournies in the past.

Also question for Gary, FJ, and Dan… you boys coming to the Indy tournament? Any chance any of you can drive a vehicle there to help with carpooling? I’d hate to see people get left out of coming just because things didn’t get planned out ahead of time.

Thanks Spencer. As soon as I can I plan on trying to find something else so we have two TVs for gaming, and when the wife is gone we can more than likely use the other flat panel in the house, but she’ll be home tonight and probably wanting to watch a movie or something on it.
I’m happy you can both make it. If you know of anyone else who wants to come out they are also welcome, just let me know how many people we are going to have total.

Josh - glad you made it out. Thanks for putting up with Marvel and with our goofy little SF4 zaniness (easy raging demons, one hit Seth stuns, etc.) and you got in some Tekken matches with a 3rd member of our crew. Now you’ve played Milan, me, and Gary. Hopefully the SF4 matches went ok with you (I was kind of focused over on the HDR) and it looks like you have changed/improved on the BB gameplan so nice work there.
Ok here is some bad news. After talking with the gang at IHOP last night here is our current ride situation. Our friend Ryan is driving his vehicle and has offered rides to Spencer, Gary, myself, and another guy who he will be teaming with for a Smash Bros. doubles tournament. No gentle way around it, that leaves you guys (Dan and Josh) out of the picture.
Dan - just let us know when you find out this week if you can still come or not. If you can come you might have to drive. Spencer is still thinking about driving although obviously he’d prefer to just ride down with his best friend Ryan.
Josh - same thing, just keep my informed on what the parents say. Hopefully they’re ok with it and we’ll try to find you a ride for the weekend.
Gary - any chance you can drive? This would also be a way to solve our transportation needs.

Well if you and Dave are thinking of attending then I might be persuaded to go. Sadly the thread title says it’s in St. Louis, MO and the first post says it’s in Collinsville, IL. Judging from the reaction I get in the thread it must be in Collinsville, IL. If I were to come I’d hope to work out some sort of plan with you guys to hook up and then catch a ride the rest of the way to the event.
