New thread time and it looks like I’m the first one here so I get the honor of naming another thread! :badboy:
As you can see I have included a poll. We (and other visitors who will find this very strange) are going to take a little survey. We are going to determine what the best music is. Of course there is a little something on the list for everyone. It’s mostly an inside joke so I’m guessing only a few of us will really understand what I’m doing here but oh well. Oh and it’s worth mentioning that multiple choices are allowed. You can vote for 1, you can vote for all. Choose wisely.

Clem - good job on your finishes in the tournament yesterday. Also thanks for the advice to choose Chun-Li vs. Zangief. It worked out very nicely for me.
Gary - very nice work in all the events you entered, especially SF4. We were rooting for you sir. I think in the end Ryu might have to be your main but I would keep Zangief right there in your back pocket in case you ever need him. And hey, in the meantime this frees you up to get more time in with other top characters like Sagat or Balrog. How tough would you be to stop if you could master all 4 of those guys?
Spencer - good job overall yesterday. Good first tournament experience. Sorry you had to face the best in the 2nd round of Remix but oh well, that happens.
Isaac - sorry to hear things went down like that but it’s ok. The game is just too new at this point and on top of that you are just too new to competitive SF as a whole so you will soon forget about this day.

Gary, GG’s on the games last night, I got a win I think once, and a bunch of close rounds, I got you good a few times with those hadoken -> shokoten combos that I didn’t even know I could do. But that low kick -> Hadoken shit you were doing with ryu was unstopable when you were doing that. I don’t even know how I would stop that cuz your recov. on Hadokens is so much quicker than mine (Sakura). GGs tho fam.
And the Gary vs. PJ matches were really close, and full of HYPE.

Everyone: Let the dropping begin in ST:IV. Lots of players at the high level don’t want to lose their ranks so they’re going to the dashboard to aviod the loss. I was really hoping that Capcom would’ve fixed this but oh well.
Anyhoo, has anyone noticed how easily you can combo Chun-Li’s super when you hit someone in the air with hard punch? Also, Rufus has something similar with his ultra. Is this the case for everyone that’s airborne?
Oh, and props to everyone for doing so well at the tourney.
Yeah, I’ve notices that with a few characters as well. Actually, you can hit Chuns ultra after a lot of moves that makes the opponent float in the air :wgrin: I’m lovin it.

Actually, ActionHank, Sakura has imo NO wakeup game (or an absolutle shitty one at that) so I caved in and switched to Sagat.
Funny thing about those Dc’s, My internet went out mid-match (it was 1/1) and When I got back to the main menu, I had actually GAINED points. Broken. I think this shit needs a patch b4 HD Remix. and with that patch needs to be the other Alt. Costumes.
I fought against a Chun today who had the alt. dress and I was sooo jelous. I almost felt bad for Ultra-countering her ex attack that looks like SA3 i think from SF3…almost. But it was 1-1, so things were different.
From what I learned from playing that person though, is that chun is absolute bat-shit bonkers in this game. She’s bouncing all over the place, air throwing, or 2 hit air attacking into her 3 hit Stomp, or letting you fall to the ground, and then like 2 Crouching punches into her “SRK” with Kicks attack.
But the main thing that Drives me nuts is Rufus’s/Gouken’s GOD DAMN C.LP BLOCK STRINGS
That is All the fucking Kenitis and JF+HK->c.HK->HP SRK. I need to work on my anti-Air and Backdashes.
I did my first FADC-> Ultra today, That felt good.

brent you still sticking with vega? Slips is having the same dillema here. I have a feeling if they do make a “Dash” or “CE” or whatever, vega will get a big boost and be competetive. He just needs a few changes to be back where he was.
Edit: why cant u combo to flipkicks? Thats bullshit everyone else has juggles out the ass and he loses his mainstay >_<
Well…you CAN combo flip kicks (light scarlet terror + ex scarlet terror) but it’s pretty worthless to waste your meter on that. I finally completed the challenge mode with Vega, they give you some pretty lame combos :lame:
