cross up hurricane kick is great, makes blocking in general tougher. maybe best outside of wakeup too, using it when un-expected. then you get hit confirm into super(ryu’s super is broke, so good, punishes so much, can’t safely focus or jump fireballs when he has it. even a strait up jump from full screen over a fireball can be supered.)

Hope I didn’t miss out on too much, I haven’t been able to check SRK as often as I used to during these past few weeks. Thanks for the heads up last weekend Brent, though unfortunately, I wasn’t around. I just confirmed that the date of the wedding I have to attend is the date of the Indy tournament, the 29th. And I noticed that Tim is going to a wedding on the 29th as well. Very odd. Maybe I will see you there haha?? Not sure what’s in store for me during these next two weekends, but I will post up if I am available. As strange as it sounds, once school starts up my weekends will start to open up.

Brent - Our old xbox headset was no good, as you may have noticed, people could barely hear us when we spoke. And then it entirely broke just a few days ago. We just bought a quality headset though. “Quality” of course meaning anything that doesn’t have the name “Microsoft” on it. Haven’t been able to get on xbox lately though. What’s worse is that our connection is slightly worse at this new home, a new router may solve that problem though.

Everyone: The xbox 360 update strikes again!
I love the new stuff that came with it BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY I’m able to connect to all my friends so far (Brent, we need to get some games in sometime). ON THE DOWNSIDE, a couple of my games have their achievements in a strange order. I actually called xbox on this one because I’ve had two major things mess up now since updating my console 1) My gamesaves being lost 2) Achievements in a few games being screwed up; all within about a month. I spent about 55 minutes on the phone to learn that it can’t be corrected. They say that my console is fine but I’m not so sure.

Has anyone figured out anything new regarding possible driving status for the Indy tournament… just 2 weeks away. Here is what I know so far…
Definitely going: Brent, Spencer
Shows interest in going: Ryan, Gary, Dan, Josh (nasty note)
No clue if this person is going or not: Fredal (ex annihilation)
Please correct me if my status is wrong on anyone. So assuming this is all correct we have a possibility of 7 people going. That means we need two vehicles. As most folks know I can’t drive my vehicle to this. Also Josh and Fredal can’t drive to this either I already know. That leaves 4 people who maybe can drive their own vehicles or else we have to try renting again like we did for the Arcade Legends tournament and that obviously makes our tournament expenses higher… especially if we have to rent 2 freaking vehicles as a worst case scenario.
So please someone update me if I have put you in a wrong category and also if you can or can’t drive your vehicle to this event. I’m just trying to get all the facts straightened out. Of course if I have left someone off the list completely then by all means speak up. I was assuming that Abe & Milan had no interest so I didn’t include them.
Ryan isn’t going to the BlazBlue tourney, he’s going to a Brawl tourney instead; however, he has said that he is willing to take @least myself and maybe some other people down to the mall. However it will be quite early (brawl tourney reg starts @ 10/11 with the tourney starting @ 11/12), but that is an option.
If no one else will step up, I can drive my car (and take 4 others). However, I’d prefer to ride down with Ryan (this will eliminate my vehicle). I’ll have to get in touch with him and iron out all the details on whether or not he can drive some people down.
Side Note, I just can’t shake the feeling that I’m going to go 0-2 in both tournies…
Hey everyone, I’ve been out of the loop for the past week. I just got moved into my new place and didn’t have internet for a little while as comcast was getting everything transferred over. It’s been a very stressful week to say the least, and one that has involved very little time to play HDR which makes me sad. Anyhow, everything should be a bit smoother from here on out.
