GG’s everyone last night,glad to finally win 2 games in a row, Good to finally meet you in person Dan, hope you return for future gatherings.
Main lessons from last night : Turbo makes games broken. Which Akuma special shall beat which is completely random. And T.Hawk’s Jumping Jab is broken (or maybe it’s just how Gary uses it).
Can’t wait to see how Milan’s sound system turns out. Hope for the best.
It was nice meeting all of you/seeing you again… kind of weird taking a six year break. At any rate I plan on being a regular. I have to do something to get better. Thanks to Milan for hosting.

Milan, work on your Bryan Fury stuff manually without turbo buttons. Ok?
Dan, I’ll see if I can study up on what good Balrog players do and perhaps we’ll both learn cool stuff about him we’ll apply it to your game over the long run (if you choose to keep playing him over Honda).
Spencer, that jumping jab is hard for several characters to deal with. Bison, not having the greatest anti-air options, would be one of them as you found out. Heck even Chun Li has trouble with them I believe, or at least I do. But of course other characters with great anti-air moves (dragon punch, tiger uppercut, cannon spike, etc.) are quite alright. Actually now that I think of it, I hear from other experts that Cammy is supposed to be quite the little nightmare for T. Hawk.
Thanks Brent, I think I am going to stick with Balrog for now. I played some matches this morning and did pretty well. I’ve been doing some reading on his priority so I know what beats what. That seems to be where I’m getting in the most trouble. Well that and abusing the dash punch. Thanks a lot for your help. I had a great time.

Clem - strangely enough with me he never does make his appearance very often. Perhaps as SB4 nears he will start popping up and popping off more and more. :tup: Actually I found a surprise challenger from someone new to my friend list. Silver Rain is his name I think. He’s from Indianapolis and he managed to play a pretty offensive and smart Cammy and guide her to wins over Ryu, Fei Long, and even Chun Li. I told him I will have to use Vega at this point. I need the most beautiful fighter if I even want to have a chance of hanging on to my in-state supremacy on HDR. :sad::tdown: But I’m not too worried about it at this point. I’ll find a way at the tournament to make things work in my favor and with some proper training you will too.
Very interesting, I will try playing this Indy player if I see him on. I almost never get to play any Cammy players.

I think you should. I need more people to play it against. I haven’t picked up SFIV or BB in weeks because of HDR

Why don’t you tell us a little about yourself, like what fighters you play and stuff, idk just introduce your self. I’d love to play some BB, but alas I am PS3, and thus can only play in Person. I don’t know when our next get together will be but maybe you can join? It’s not my decision though, because I don’t host and therefore have no say in whether or not a stranger should come into the host’s house. But I digress, it’s always good to have another person in the Fort Wayne fighting game scene!
I’ve played SCIV for a long time, a little HDR and SFIV, main focus is BB, but I’ve fooled around in alot of other fighters that aren’t as popular today as they were back then.
Ah, thank you all very much. ^^ Hmmm, I play ALOT of BlazBlue, but i’m decent at DoA4(I know it isn’t much lol) SCIV, and i’ve played a decent amount of HDR Remix(Nothing above scrub thou). I’m currently learning BlazBlue, MvC2, and hopefully Tekken and that is about it. MOSTLY BlazBlue, and yea i hope to see all you guys at some get together soon. THat would be killer awesome lol.
