Yea, I know this sounds funky; but i could host or have hang with you guys sometime to play Local lol. I’m a New Haven Boy, So i’m a little off of fort wayne. I’d definitely like to play with you guys often no doubts. BB or whatever really. XD
We usually play on PS3 when we get together, unless you have two 360 sticks (or there will be 2 360 sticks @ your house should you host)… You do play on a stick right? Brent has a stick for both consoles (two for ps3 rather), and I have two ps3 sticks, Gary (another friend) has a ps3 stick, Clem (deadpool) and Issac(RenegadeFerret) (they are brothers) (ClemIssac) have a 360 stick a piece. That’s about all I can recall. We usually do things on the weekends (either a fri or a sat). Which can involve going out to eat, going back to someone’s house to play SF, and then going to IHOP to talk about the shinanegans that occurred during the day.
Btw. I tend to type alot and ramble on the forums, and kinda IRL, just a heads up.

Glad to have you dude… I’m Dan. I grew up in New Haven and now live in Fort Wayne. I can’t help you much with Blazblue, or really anything for that matter, but I do play a rather scrubby Jin that I’m sure you can destroy. I also play a lot of HDR and I’m learning SFIV. It’s good to have you.
I’m from Fort Wayne but down in Bloomington at IU right now. Anybody around Bloomington, didn’t see a topic from browsing a little bit. Anyways, I doubt I know any of you from back home, but my name is Scott Underwood, used to play a lot of DDR around Tokens n Tickets and Putt Putt during high school, but just recently got into fighting games. Trying to get better!

Anybody playin marvel since it dropped? How is it? Can it replace the dc version?
I’m playing it. I dunno if it can replace the DC version. Certainly not a Marvel expert even though I’m amazing and/or pissing off folks who aren’t familiar with the Spiral/Sentinel trap. Also I have dozens of new names now to add to my victims of Amingo list! :tup:
Marvel didn’t come out for the PS3 yet… I’m still not sure if I should pick it up. If you thought I was bad at other games you should see me play MVC2.

Oh, and on that message, HVB is unblockable on reaction in that version…I don’t know why. Try it out though, once the superflash hits, if you aren’t already blocking, you have no chance…it sucks.
Yeah I heard something about that. I swear it’s harder to block some stuff on that version. We’ll play some more. I had to get some SF4/MvC2 matches with Rex anyway so I got a quick good mix of practice tonight. We’ll do some SF4 soon too. I think my new character did alright against Rex this time. I’ll further test this more.
Rex - thx for the sets too. As much as I can tell you disagree with me I honestly believe Gary is basically an equal to you and Antwan. I feel pretty fortunate when I can get some practice in against him because I think it gives me a good sense of how I would fare against you guys since you both seem to always be winning or right up there amongst the top 3 in every SF4 tourney.
Gary - that being said, Rex was also using the crossup hurricane kick setup with Ryu I was telling you about. You need to figure that one out. Perhaps I’ll try to help. We should take a bit to work on this when we next gather. This would be a valuable tool for you at the Indy tournament (I assume you are coming this time?) unless you are playing Zangief.
