Clem- going from sf4 to 3s feels so good. I got that itch on sunday and it got so bad we had to set up a 3s tv next to the 4. You just have to do so much more in that game, sf4 is boring to win in and if i play a fun style i dont win, sigh.

Although I admit for some reason I do seem to have good luck against Damdai Akuma when I pick Chun Li. Everyone else I pick (including Vega)… X_X

Basicly… Akuma has to do some pretty dumb stuff in order to get beat. So ya, he’s beatable if you play him bad. I generally play an extremely low risk Akuma. There’s no sense in giving up any free damage by going for a jump in. The important thing is to remember WHY he’s OP in HD Remix, and it has much more to do then just jumping around like an idiot throwing air fireballs. Now, of course on the other hand he may have some hard matches, but I haven’t bothered learning them since I only use him in a tournament situation in which Cammy hardly stands a chance, like a against laughing fat-ass bitch E. Honda.

I didn’t make the Artwork myself…but at the same time I did.

But I did all the Photo shopping myself, sadly I’m not the artist I used to be, nor am I that skilled in Photo shop that I can do anything more than edit/manipulate others work.
But regardless. I Photo Shooped it myself using the Madcatz template for the TE stick. Then I went to Kinkos and got it printed on an 11x17" (Coulda gotten a size smaller, but oh well) CMYK Matte Finish, 28lb Paper with a 300 dpi Laser Printer.
THEN I had them use a thing called Lami-Label (Read: Giant Sticker) and cut out the holes/trim the edges. The only downside to Lami-Label is that the Lamination loses its seal when you cut it, so I corrected this with one of those single stick - plastic tape dispencers tape. Like the Magic or Multi-Purpose tape (It was clear, but I forget if it was Green or Red Packaging) http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/home_office/home/product_information/transparent_tapes/
Although I think that Theoretically you don’t need to take the top board off (remove the buttons, joystick, wires) to attach the artwork, I did just because I did not know what shortcuts I could/Could not take, and there fore did everything the long way I guess.
I used the tape to create a new seal for the lamination after I had applyed it to the board so that It would create a fuller seal. I applyed the Tape long ways Like this
( Tape Start | | Tape end) instead of the other way beacause I could cover more ground with less tape.
Put everything back together, and ta da, done.

Yeah damdai akuma is like a different character tho hehe. Hes def the best in the game, but realy its not like everyone is playing him and winning tournys. Ugh cammy vs honda is teh gayest. All i can do is hope for a life lead and then jump back spamming mp >_<. I think dictator can fight him tho, all it takes is one akuma mistake, and with that big ass jump that leads to big ass damage, hes hard to lock down with fireballs.
I wish you could go into slow motion or pause the game during hitbox training mode. Without that its pretty much useless Is there a way to clear the pause screen? And yeah hopefully he’ll show him whats up with akuma. I just dont see a banning, to me he feels like the Osagat of this game. But if ban is what it comes to, im not sweatin it :D.

We’ll see, we’ll see. Once the patch for HDR comes out I will hop back on it more often. I find both 2 and 4 to be equally as fun, hopefully there will still be people playing on Remix when the patch is released.
I was thinking the same thing. I’ve noticed quite a drop for Remix since ST IV released. It’s a shame that remix didn’t come out several months early than November.
Oh, and Rex, I totally agree about 4 CURRENTLY. Based off my own turtling and others I’ve played against, it seems like a lot of keep away right now. Although, I’ve ran into some really good Bison, Ken, and Ryu players that are really offensive.
Masamune: thanks for the info. so did you just put this lamination on top of the old plastic, or did you remove that, and put it directly onto the metal underneath?
I put the lamination on top of the old plastic, The Sticker that is currently there is pretty much perminant to the Acrylic. Unless you wanna cut some actrilic, The method I described is what I think the best. You can take the plastic off, and put it right on the metal, but I decided to leave it there because that was what I was used to, and it was just a thin layer thicker, I got used to it within a few matches. You’d lose alot of thickness if you just put it on the plate.
I don’t think we would be playing any games this weekend, might watch a movie with Milan and that would be it. I will most likely be up for doing something the weekend after though. I’ll have a strange schedule these next 2 weeks.
Well, I take that back. It seems more sticks have arrived at GameStop, so it is possible that Brent will be sneaking into town Friday. If we do play, it would probably be later in the day. Would you be up for something Friday Spencer?
Bison and ryu seem to be at there best with keepaway and zoning. Ken has a cool play style, teleporting kara throws ugh. I say its headed there cuz high level play in cali and shit who have played for over half a year is so lame sometimes. Iv seen matches where people just duck block on opposite sides of the screen for days. Our best player here, player, is a turtle fiend. So hard to get in on, even beating him isnt fun. Then if when u get him down low on life he gets a free random dp that will end the match if it hits :looney:.
I hope the remix players still on are all killers. Either way ima be on that shit soon, my xbox is in the mail back to me. I cant stand the online play on 4 so ill prolly be on hdr alot more. We got like 20 new players to play four with offline anyway, that shits bringing people out the woodwork. I have a feeling stl vs fw in 4 will go more our way though :lovin:

OH’s…lol. Nigga try gettin close enough to do an overhead. When i say turtling i dont mean sitting there blocking you when your up close. Blanka dont have an overhead anyway. I think i just need to be more patient, but i hate option select throw tech so much. Hopefully i can get some practice in with frame traps once i get the game. Its a small answer but def not a cure, like i said high level games have alot of turtling too, its just the way this game is played. Matches that are close in the end and both players have ultras doesnt help this either. Its just the way the game is, im sure ill learn to love it
