Sounds like some of you had a good practice session at Mike’s house. We probably could have made it back in time but it was sort of my fault for entering a few extra events at the last minute. Hopefully see you guys next weekend.

Brent: Man, it was so nice to hang out again. You’re always making me laugh at these events and I’m looking forward to attending more if the circumstances are right. I wish I could have been with you guys in the car. I was SO tired the last hour of my trip back home. Props on taking ST against Frank. After watching the two of you go back an forth, I know that you can take that SBO event!

Tim - was real glad you made it out and hopefully we will meet up again once more before the year is over at some local tourney or at an Abe party. Winning the ST tourney was great for my confidence since this was my last real tune-up chance before the SBO qualifier and also I believe certain folks around Ohio and even locally here in Fort Wayne were beginning to doubt me and saw me as a 2nd fiddle to Frank (and quite honestly I was tired of losing a few recent HDR tournaments to him) and so I put in some extra work and it looks like it’s paying off already. Frank has been my friend for years so it’s nothing against him at all but it feels good to show some folks that I still got it, so to speak. That’s why I jokingly adapted the Aerosmith song Back In The Saddle as my theme song for this weekend. It felt symbolic. :tup: Of course the extra time I put in isn’t just an attempt to get over on folks at the Cincy tourney. This is part of me getting ready for the qualifier. I’m taking this real seriously, way more than my usual training for any other game or tournament (even my HDR tournaments).

Im confused…when I left I was told that I was tied for either 7th or 9th. I beat only 2 guys so unless I got a bye or two I didn’t know about then that is wrong. Even if I did get a bye…screw it. YA 4TH PLACE!!!
That being said I did do pretty kickass considering me being gone for a while and all. lol.
Yeah they changed it after someone spoke up about their ranking in the standings.
Time to start practicing hardcore for ST. I want it bad and will not take this lightly so my practice will be serious and very intense for the next 10 days… that’s all I can say.

eh who knows when you’ll see us. i mean there are several tourneys we attend in Ohio each year. you should try your hardest to attend Season’s Beatings again which is coming up soon i’m assuming. you would always be welcome to come join us on weekends in Fort Wayne if we are playing, just let us know ahead of time you would be interested in coming. it’s sort of like Mario said in the Indy thread, you’ll probably have to travel to them or to us instead of everyone packing up to join one person. hehe. i am slowly improving my SSF4 Vega so by all means come try him out
