Gravimetric Pulse and Centurion Rush are his best assists imo. I think their uses depend on the team you’re running. For instance, if I’m using him with Super Skrull, I’d choose Gravimetric Pulse to limit the opponents approach options.
Agreed. Both of those assist are notoriously good.

I’m thinking of running Nova/Dormammu/Ryu, I haven’t tried it in the lab but I bet you can get a similar Javelin reset off a DHC into Dormammu’s stalking flare. I’m thinking gravimetric pulse assist for Dormammu as you can treat it like Aegis reflector and use Dormammu teleport mixups.
I’m not sure who should be on point though, Nova or Dormammu…
Any suggestions would be welcome. I only see the Dorm’s Dark Hole assist being useful in this case since it holds you in place for a long time and can go along with Nova since he can OTG himself.
care to elaborate? is this after survival techniques or blue light special? do either of those even cause a hard knockdown?
Nova’s super causes a hard knockdown when cancelled early, which lets frank whiff his survival techniques. he recovers fast enough that he can take a picture to get instant level 4 like shown in the video, but what I was saying that after survival techniques whiffs, frank can call Nova’s centurion rush assist, take a picture, get the ground bounce, and then take another picture.

Have you tried this? I don’t know if it will work, you really are pushing untech time by the time you get to that part.
Nova (Centurion Overhead)/Spencer (Slant)/Hawkeye (Kamakazi)
What do you guys think of that mix up. Nova and Spencer doing their thing and Hawkeye helping to close the gap…Though im wondering if the straight shot would be better?
Any thoughts on which assist Hawkeye should use? Or should I just suck it up and learn Sentinel? Drones for the win 
I think after entirely too much training mode time, I’ve settled on my team including Nova.
Iron-Man (Unibeam) / Nova (Gravimetric Pulse) / Dr. Strange (Daggers of Danak)
What I love about the team is that it runs really well in any order from a point/assists standpoint. Both Nova and Iron-Man are capable of protecting the first part of Daggers of Danak while Dr. Strange is out. Then they can apply pressure as the Daggers go off. There are many setups where they can throw before they fire, or after, and all sorts of craziness in between. And they’re also strong against characters that like to hang out in the air like Trish, Phoenix, Zero and Firebrand.
If I’m worried about a zoning heavy team, I can flip in Dr. Strange at match start to run on point and push Iron-Man to the back. At this point Strange has a zone control assist (Grav Pulse) and a strong beam (Unibeam) for a firefight or teleport mix-ups.
I can even bring in Nova on point, and he gets both an assist that can hold people in place for mix-ups, and Daggers which is great for different kinds of mix-ups. If Nova is on point or second though, he’ll always have a strong assist to help keep his more unsafe stuff safer.
DHC Synergy is pretty strong except for Dr. Strange -> Iron-Man, which hopefully shouldn’t happen too often. Even then it still works - you just lose some mashing damage on Strange’s super. The rest all work either ideally or pretty well.
You need Spencer… 
The other issue with IM on the team, is that you lose Safe DHC options. In exchange you get a solid character with a GDLK assist.

Anyway, new team I’m testing out is Spencer/Nova/Doom. I’ll give IM another look over if I don’t have a feel for Doom. Maybe even taskmaster, or Ammy. Still need to give Strange an honest try as well.
Well, the reason I keep saying that is because of the absolutely stupid options you get. Have you seen the Javelin Glitch I found? You need spencer to do it. You can’t do much better than a point character that needs no meter…
For that reason, Nova must come before spencer. You have alot of options for the last slot though.
In short, a Nova team is:

or
Nova/xxxxx/Spencer

After some time in the lab, it’s hard but it’s possible. Call Nova, slight pause, snap. The window for Nova to hit to get the ground bounce is pretty small, as is the window for you to input :dp:+:m: to get the hard knockdown for another snap. However, you still get 800k damage and a level 5 Frank off of your Nova BNB.

As far as I’m concerned, as long as Spencer is alive I get a free mix-up. I personally am enjoying him on point. Spencer, and Nova getting K.O’s between the two of them is the other purpose of the team. Plus, if Nova doesn’t need meter to really kill a character then that gives Spencer some extra bars to use(even the anchor, or the whole team in general).
Also, there are somethings that are annoying to deal with when Nova is on point. Spencer on point helps alleviate some of those annoyances.
so far my team right now is Nova-B,Strider-Y and Doom-A. im just having trouble deciding what assists i should be going for or if their is any real loophole in this team. i feel as if nova is a great battery to get striders good stuff out, and dooms assist helps quite a bit and is possibly a really great anchor. is their anything else i should be taking advantage of in this team??
Thanks, I took bits and pieces of info people have speculated/suggested (Zucco and Vic from the Tron boards) and just put 2 and 2 together at the end of your BNB. I know what you mean about seeing people use your tech, that’s why I started a YouTube channel for my Tron/Frank/Nova team cuz everyone gave up on Tron :[
Well, that final assist is important, I think Sentinel is the best assist wise, but he isn’t the best character. Other good options include:
Ammy
Iron Man
Sentinel
Vergil
Dante
Strider
Doom
Strange
Hawkeye
TaxMaster
Frank West
and more I’m sure I’m forgetting. But Nova/Spencer isn’t really optional if you team is a Nova team. If your team isn’t about Nova, then other configs might be better.
