Gouken doesn’t have a DP, so what are you talking about? Tatsu? That shit sucks too, but at least it knocks down on the first hit.

Edit: and he can combo both ultras and super from the trade. U2 requires spinning the stick during the startup.

NORMAL MOVES


  • Focus Attack: Expanded hitbox forward (end of scarf). Increase animation speed on release // changed level 2 of Focus Attack from 17+14 to 17+12
  • Crouching jab: Recovery reduced to 7 frames. Frame advantage is now +2 on block and +5 on hit.
  • Crouching strong: Add +2 frames of block stun. Cancelling into LP and MK Spiral is now considered a true blockstring
  • Crouching RoundHouse: Decreased startup frame by 1 bringing it to a total of 8 frames.
  • Close Standing forward: Adjusted frame advantage on block to +1. Decreased pushback. On counter hit, it can be linked with crouching fierce against anybody regardless if standing of crouching (not working on all character, ryu for example). If the opponent is standing it can be linked with st.HK against certain characters (big hurtbox characters, sagat / seth / abel etc)
  • Far Standing Fierce: shrunk the hurtbox to match the height of the hitbox
  • Far Standing RoundHouse: Extended hitbox to tip of the foot
  • Soul Piety: Increased damage to 150. Increased active frames by 3 by bringing it to a total of 5 active frames. Changed from airborne state to Hard knockdown against airborne opponents on counter hit.

SPECIAL MOVES


  • Soul throw from crouching attacks is no longer possible
  • LP Soul Spark: Decrease startup frame from 14 to 13 and recovery from 52 to [VERIFICATIOKN NEEDED// POSSIBLE 47] allowing for a better zoning capability. Also puts Rose -8 on block and -4 on hit
  • MP Soul Spark: Decrease startup frame from 22 to 16 and recovery from 52 to [VERIFICATIOKN NEEDED// POSSIBLE 44]. Rose is now -2 on block and +2 on hit
  • HP Soul Spark Decrease startup frame from 29 to 23 and recovery from 53 to [VERIFICATIOKN NEEDED// POSSIBLE 45]. Also puts Rose +4 on block and +8 on hit. Decreased pushback when the fireball hits the opponent
  • EX Soul Spark: Add Pursuit properties but ends on 2nd hit of EX soul spark. HP Reflect -> EX Soul Spark now fully connects and also Soul Satellite but cannot be Soul Throw
  • EX Soul spiral: Removed the 2 vulnerable frames between the invincible frames and the active frames of EX Soul Spiral, bringing the startup to 11 frames.
  • LP Soul Reflect: Damage increased to 80. Active frames goes up by 1 giving it a total of 3 active frames. Can be canceled into Aura Soul Spark upon fireball detection
  • MP Soul Reflect: Damage increased to 80. Can be canceled into Aura Soul Spark upon fireball detection.
  • HP Soul Reflect: Damage increased to 70. Fireball hitbox detection starts on the 10th frame. Active frames goes up by 1 giving it a total of 3 active frames. Can be canceled into Aura Soul Spark upon fireball detection.
  • EX Soul Reflect: Damage increased to 80.
  • EX Soul throw: Damage increased to 190. Stun increased to 150. Startup decreased by 2 to bring it to a total of 4 frames.

SUPER MOVES


  • Aura Soul Spark: Increase damage from 320. Startup changed from 1+7 to 1+4. Travel speed of all version increased. Possible to use Aura Soul Spark after reflecting the opponent’s fireball.

ULTRA MOVES


  • Illusion Spark: Startup reduced from 12 to 9 frames. Damage decreased from 498 to 400. Add juggle properties.
  • Soul Satellite: Increase damage of each orb from 120 to 150.

Hell I would take Dudley as he is now in AE2012, just so long as his coat is thrown to him during winning animation…

He has a smooth winning animation, but that would make it even smoother.

TBH i always wanted a dream character in SF that had a culmination of a lot of the best tools and options from other characters, but put together in a unique way. Something like a character that had all the best command normals from a lot of other characters and a bunch of thier best standings and jumping normals. I always thought it would be awsome for a character with a dp to have something like dahlsims hp and to combine that with fireball pressure. Also I would make this character have very interesting air options, maybe ryu/goken jumping towards mp for crazy combo potential, and a divekick that was different from yun/rufus but still had the ability to change the jump arc during most of the jump, something like akuma’s amazing second impact divekick. Also it would be cool if this character had unique air mobility options in combination with a dive kick, i was thinking something similar to 3S chun li’s wall jump stomps shenanigains but make it significantly stronger and give it combo potential. I would give this character kind of a beefed up shoto-specials for his/her/its ground game like a shoto’ish fireball, a great dp, and something that works like a tatsu in combos but would be a better move for long range wiff punishes. I would also give this character a strong escape option, maybe something like a teleport? one that’s better than yangs EX but not as good as akumas. Also since they will never put Urien in this game at this point it would be awesome if this character had some of Urien’s best stuff like if chariot tackle was changed into a focus attack, and some of Uriens amazing punishes, maybe give this character Uriens cr hp but make it safe on block, since it couldnt possibly be dangerous without aegis reflector to force the opponent into a lose lose 50/50 on followup. I also think this character could have not one but TWO command throws, like give him/her/it something like gief/hugo 360’s, maybe not as fast but still 3 frames so it makes normal throw teching against this character totally useless, also this character should have some kind of ridiculous version of a command throw that leads into a stagger state for thier second throw, something that would have the same effect as fei’s/yun/yang/makoto’s command throws but I would give it significantly more frame advantage so full combos with the urien cr hp could be used and i’d also give it 3/4 screen range somehow? I donno how they would animate that last part but from a gameplay perspective it would be cool. Also this second throw could act as like a combo extender maybe if it had an ex version, something that would let this character burn EX meter to connect the endings of already awesome combo’s into this stagger state to really reward the fact that this character has an easy time building meter, they havent had that mechanic since 3S genejin.

Of course this is only a dream character IMO, obviously capcom couldn’t introduce a character like this into the game because they would break so many classic matchup ideas by having options that no other SF character has. I imagine even if they tried to nerf this character with stuff like terrible health, terrible stun, low damage output, and even almost makoto like shitty walk speed that this character would still prove to be OP, simply because a single input from anywhere on screen could most likely address anything the opponent could throw at you and also a character with so many good specials/normals would probably end up with a lot of just broken option selects that would be even derpier than the option selects that vanilla akuma had.

oh well one can dream i guess…

You forgot about an ultra that covers the entire screen extremely quickly and a Super that sucks them in like that command grab. That would one HELL of a character.

  • The first alliteration of SSFIV version Cammy.

  • Rose’s Ultra 1 does more damage, slightly larger hitbox of Soul Throw, Soul Spark with slightly better recovery, increase damage output on Soul Satellite

  • This is already a foregone conclusion but I would love to Q, Oro, Alex, Remy, Urien, Necro, Twelve, R.Mika, and Karin in action.

  • Yang’s first alliteration of AE.

  • Makoto’s alliteration in AE.

  • I don’t know if I should mention SFEX characters but sense they are not really “Capcom’s” characters…

  • Both of Chun Li’s Ultra’s having VERY slightly increased damage output

lol I play her exclusively and I dont even want that. I just miss making people angry when I got them to less than half life and then all of a sudden they’re dead.

Does everyone mistake “dream character” with “broken as fuck character who is extremely boring to play because he one hits everything” or is that actually your dream character? I’m not sure…
