and on top of that, didn’t your tiny island gov’t announce to salary rises this year?
Wow - I wasn’t expecting that kind of charge when shipping overseas. It’s unfortunate that some countries carry an additional fee when accepting products from abroad. Sometimes I get requests to lower the value of the item or gift it to get around this limitation. I might do it occasionally, but as a legit business, I can’t do it often as this is illegal for US postage.
Just to mention, I can also ship abroad to customers who have a Bongo US mail forwarding address. Here are the details:
We have partnered with Bongo International to fulfill our international orders. Bongo provides our international visitors with their own US forwarding address. Having a Bongo address provides you with multiple benefits:
- Ability to purchase from any US based retail store
- Ability to save money by consolidating multiple purchases
- Ability to make sure your order was fulfilled correctly
- Ability to view images of your goods before they are shipped overseas
–
You can sign up by clicking the link located at the lower left navigation in my store, right under the Facebook module. I know it’s not perfect, but another option to potentially remove some shipping charges.
Isn’t it possible to ship to The Netherlands without the use of Bongo? I only want to order 1 PS360 and have it shipped through normal (cheap) airmail.
Just ordered a PS360 PCB and nice tutorial video, it makes installing the PCB into a fightstick look easy.
SD5k - yes, you can order internationally without needing Bongo. I just made that option available for those who have to deal with customs charges in their country.
Good stuff.
You’ll dig the PS360’s ease of use. No more traveling to tournaments wondering if your stick is compatible with the console.
The problem with royal mail is that anything over £18 gets taxed up the ass. And most of the tax you pay is the admin charges for sending the letter to you in the first place (Parcel force charged me something like £12 admin fee for sending the letter on a package before).
you have to be prepared for this sort of thing when buying from overseas outside the EU, honestly. I couldn’t stress that enough with overseas buyers.
It is illegal, as jman said to lower the amount on shipping declarations. Some people will do it, but if you’re trying to run a business, it’s best to just not go there.
when I placed an order for something like £90 with Akihabara, I was fully prepared to pay the bonkers tax they would probably throw at me. I guess I just got lucky that unless it’s going through fedex or parcelforce, they tend not to grab them.
So like I mentioned before, when buying abroad, don’t get surprised when it gets stopped and taxed. The UK, afterall run a government full of extortionate idiots, but that’s up for other people to decide.
Sorry but I’m stil getting this: Unfortunately we can’t ship to your location.
Please select another location and try again.
SD5k - Can you PM me your address? Also, are you registered, or ordering as a guest? I’ve shipped to the Netherlands before.
For the tax part, can’t you just mark it as a ‘gift’ or ‘replacement parts’ customs will not charge you for it as a new part. Used to do this when I was restoring my old car
Just wanted to add my satisfaction here - ordered a ps360 and shipping was ridiculously fast. Very happy!
Hmm…I may give that a try, though I can’t promise anything. :}
Also a heads up to international shoppers: Recently I got with the store tech guys to resolve a shipping-related error. If you were getting the following message when checking out:
“Unfortunately one or more item items in your cart can?t be shipped to your location. Please choose a differente delivery address”
You should no longer receive that error and checkout should be possible. Thanks for your patience!
Much appreciated! Just wanted to mention that my packers are currently available throughout the weekdays, but out on weekends. If you order Sunday thru Wednesday, orders should go out the following day. Orders sent Thursday night thru Saturday will ship out Monday morning. My apologies for any delays on that end, and hope this info will help when you order.

Some new and exciting things are coming to Focusattack.com, both on the tech/hardware side and style/apparel. Will keep you updated!
got my seimitsu Ls32 yesterday. and an awesome rock howard card. Thanks again for the great business.
Sweet! Thanks for the feedback! I apologize if it doesn’t seem like new stuff is coming in, but in fact there are a number of developing products you’ll be excited to hear about. Of them, I can say that the LED button modding scene is about to blow up.
looking forward to the new stuff arriving, plan on ordering the smoke seimitsus, meshballs, and a few other things as soon as you get them in stock
edit:
random question, do you sell just the nuts for the PS14-KNs?
Hey fireatwill!
I’m looking into the smoke Seis, and meshballs are a definite. Also of note is that I got quotes for USB cables, QCDs, wiring and other items useful for PS360 and other PCB installs. Will have updates on that as they come in.
Unfortunately I don’t have the single clear nut units for PS-14KNs. Oddly enough, sometimes the KNs we receive come without them so we have to remove those from stock. It’s rare, but it happens. If I can find someone to supply those individually, I’ll look into getting them.
To note, since focusattack.com is a new company and hardware/joystick parts is just one of the items we offer, we may not have all of the small parts that most dedicated arcade shops will sell often because they stock them for their own purposes. FA won’t be an arcade shop, nor will it try to compete with LL or Akishop’s huge lot of items. That said, we will try to carry most of the major requested parts, and if demand grows for others, such as assembled LED PCBs, we’ll do our best to carry them.
Thanks!
just got my PS360 today in the mail. thanks for the awesome business!
Glad to be of service! We’ll definitely try to bring more of the good stuff to players here.
To note, restocks of your favorite items, such as Sanwa JLFs, are being ordered. Those go pretty fast. Thanks for your patience!
I ordered some clear seimitsu buttons and a black ball top from you, hopefully itll be here tomorrow!!! =D
and in maybe two weeks ill have my art and plexi from Art, I cant wait till its all done XD
Good stuff! If you ordered it before Friday of last week, I should arrive any day now. If Friday or afterwards, it will likely ship Monday. I need to talk with Art about potentially carrying some of his plexis.
^^^Yay. Time to finish work on three sticks (one of those three is turning my PS1 stick into a triple mod that I have done with two other HRAP-based sticks)!
