Yea I ordered it on Thurs, should be here by today or the very latest tmrw.
If you could get to do that then that would be pretty awesome man. Dont get me wrong, Art is an awesome guy and he does amazing things but if he lets you sell his stuff then that might cut down on wait times for some people especially if they just wanted to buy the plexi or replacement plexi panel. Thats just my opinion =]
Got your PM and appreciate what you said there. Again, customer service is top priority here. If you or anyone else reading this has an issue regarding an order, PM me on SRK, by email @service@focusattack.com, or Twitter @focusattack. Thanks!
I was talking to him a while back but I havenāt reached him since thenā¦I think his inbox was full. :} Will try again.
On that note, thanks to RoyalFlushTZ and JayJay, Iām in talks with HitBoxes - the designer behind those amazing button-only controllers. Theyāre eventually going to ramp up production with a local manufacturer to produce a sweet design. Iām hoping to carry these unique configurations along with some of the cases. More on that in time. To those who inquired with me about carrying their joystick cases, please forgive my delays in getting back to you. Itās been super busy around here, so if I missed you, please resend me a PM and Iāll reply in much better fashion this time around.
One final note. Still working with my suppliers for the Sanwa mesh balls. Sanwa is keeping them updated on final design, but has yet to finalize pricing. Iām also working with Akishop to procure hardware USB, QCD and wiring supplies. Assembled ArcEye2s are nearing final designs, and PurpleArms assures that it will be compatible with a number of manual and controller-based configurations, most notably the Sparky 32 RGB controller.
Dang - I can tell by the care put into your setup that your stick is going to look sharp and very clean. I think people would pay for super clean and organized setups that they would proudly show off via plexi.
I honestly need to find time to build my āPoison for SFā SE mod stick. You guys keep us at focusattack.com busy!
This is an incredibly selfish requestā¦but you should stock Seimitsu LS-33 springs. ^.^
Lizard lick is the only place I ever knew of to get them and they have been out of stock forever. The only shop I have found that carries the things is in Germany. And as much as I love that modā¦I have a hard time waiting three weeks and spending nearly $20.00 on shipping for a $1.50 spring.
I feel your pain on that one. Itās frustrating to need something and the usual place to get it doesnāt have it in stock.
Since Focusattack.com is still rather new, I have limited resources to spend on a wide variety products. Because if that, I canāt always get the stuff that dedicated arcade shops have simply because they use them for their own arcade cabs. That said however, is the LS-33 spring a highly-sought after item that people canāt seem to get over here? Iām working with Akishop to get an overseas supplier who may have items like that, but I donāt know how much demand there is for those springs.
Its a pretty common mod for the Madcatz SE and TE sticks. It reduces the free play in the stick and makes it stiffer. Helps a lot with accuracy and consistency. I would say pretty confidently, that most of the community members here use it more for that than they do as an actual replacement part for a Seimitsu joy stick.
As I mentioned earlier, the only US based place I ever knew of to get it from was Lizard lick.
This video on how to install it has over 12,000 views:

Another video focusing on the spring and switch mods has nearly 49,000 views:
I would consider that fairly popular. But I guess itās a perspective thing; page views for a mod probably donāt translate directly to selling potential.
Iāll make that one of the questions to ask the supplier I going to work with overseas. My US supplier is also planning to make a large Seimitsu buy, so Iāll also ask him about it.
Though I may not have the parts, I started looking to help another person out with a parts inquiry and came across a UK dealer on Ebay that sells the spring, along with reasonable shipping rates:
Tried out the PS360 PCB last night right before painting my stick. Worked on both the 360 and PS3. Canāt wait to finish painting it and get ready for MVC3.
Great! Thanks for the feedback - it goes a long way. Iām having trouble keeping them in stock. What are you designing for your stick? Is it MVC3 themed?
Thanks, man. I try to stay on top of questions and requests when possible, and give the best shipping abd service you guys deserve. Corny or not, itās a fact that thereās no FA without your support. bro hug lol.
Yea man, I got my buttons later the same day I made my first in this thread. Im now that much closer to finishing my stick. However, i did get a random card in the package with my buttons lol. On another note, shipping was super quick, i live in GA and I ordered on Thursday evening, by Monday it was here. Maybe that;s due to the fact that it was shipped from PA lol. Anyways keep up the good work- its always nice to have multiple sources for parts.
Much appreciated, Kniveszz. The random UFS card is something I started since the business began. At the rate they are going, I may run out again in a few months.
We definitely try to keep shipping nice and quick. Only snag might be Fridays when packers are out for the weekend, but picks right back up on Sunday night, with orders placed Friday and the weekend shipping on Monday.
To all reading this, thanks for your patience as some supplies need restocking. My current supplier is preparing a big Sanwa order, and is running out his own parts (lol!) I have another order going out this week for JLFs, clear Seimitsus and other buttons. Of note are OSBN-30s. I have more colors in stock and will have them listed this weekend.
Mesh ball pricing has come in, and thanks to a strong yen to dollar ratio, my initial purchase of those may be somewhat limited. Am working out the details right now. Will keep you updated!
Everything I seen when researching mods, and reading what other people have done, referenced the LS-33. I couldnāt really comment on any difference between the 32 and 33 since I havenāt tried the former.
As far as the stick itself goes thoughā¦that is exactly why the spring works so well. Itās meant to bounce back from longer throws. So when you put it in the shorter JLF you get a tighter stick and faster recoil. You also dont replace the JFL spring; you actually place one inside of the other and use both.
It ends up being a pretty drastic change. Whenever I end up playing on a stock SE or TE now, the stick feels loose and sloppy.
BTW: My PS360 showed up today. I havenāt had a chance to try it out yet, but I am wondering if I should be holding onto the original PCB (even though it has some issues with dropping out)? I read something somewhere else on here that Microsoft could push an update that would disable 360 being able to use multi-platform boards?
