Let me know how those buttons are. Hopefully the qcds are easy enough to pull out so you can swap.
I appreciate it, but we have a long way to go in order to make FA more of a go-to place for joystick and peripheral customization. Our focus going forward is to introduce and educate the budding arcade enthusiast to the world of building, modifying and personalizing arcade style peripherals, then provide them with hardware and accessories to do it. This will apply not only to joysticks, but other arcade entertainment and eventually console peripherals. This means youāll see more tutorials and videos, tools and personalization services that cater to the beginner, intermediate, and advanced player. Weāll also encourage players to contribute building, modifying and customization tips and photos for store credits. Thatās what we want to set in motion come 2013.
Can you define TE control panel replacement plexis? We had the extended replacement plexis for the TE, thought I believe that these sold out. We are working to get these restocked through a new manufacturer.
I understand now. Am afraid that we donāt have that item at this time. Nearly every plexi made at Arts Hobbies is designed on demand, so they can make all sorts of different items over a 2 week period, whereas we currently have them made in bulk. This limits us to what we can get 100-200 pieces made. That said, we can try looking into additional plexi items. Arts Hobbies will remain the go-to place for custom plexis.
EVO has come and gone, but players like yourself are back in the lab getting ready for the next tournament. That couldnāt be more apparent by the number of people dropping by the site, FB page and Twitter showing off their latest completed sticks. Weāve showcased some great ones recently. If you have a great looking, joystick weād like to feature it on our Facebook page for a few thousand inspired players to see on both FB and Twitter. Of course, we definitely want to see them displayed here as well.
The latest store newsletter highlights the newly-released PS360+, a month-long sale that rewards you with a discount for sharing your favorite products on social networks, plus an upcoming feature that players have demanded for a while - ability to purchase Sanwa OBSF and OBSC button and plungers separately for custom builds. Check it out:
Iām trying to order a PS360+ and it seems like I canāt order it without also ordering the PS2 cable? Every time I try to add to cart it says āPlease choose an option for PS2 cableā, but thereās no option, itās a radio button that says āAdd to orderā. If I click that it obviously adds the PS2 cable in with the board and thereās no way to remove that from the cart but leave the board. I tried it in both chrome and firefox to check if it was a browser issue but it happened both times. Is there a āno cableā option that Iām missing?
Our apologies. I had to add the cable quickly and forgot to remove the ārequiredā option from the listing. You should be able to order without the cable now.
Weāre still waiting for Akishop to ship the cables. Rough estimate is 2 weeks.
I put my order for 2 PS360+ and it was before the fix, so I ended up with the ārequiredā PS2 cables⦠is there a way to get the AkiShopās cables when they become available instead of the ones you have right now for PS2?
I donāt mind if I have to pay the shipping for them as long as they are longer than 6ft and comes from AkiShop⦠I believe they have promise 15ft USB and PS2 cables.
If so, I will order the USB A to RJ45 too⦠so any way, I will place another order when those cables becomes available.
Weāre attempting to get through as many as we can. There were close to 200 orders placed over the weekend, not including Monday. :]
For those who ordered PS360+ PCBs, weāre working to get associated cables in 1-2 weeks. This will include the JST wiring harnesses, 13ā RJ45 to PSX/PS2 cables, 13ā RJ45 to USB cables, and HSB external headset PCB. Akishop finally received their shipment, and weāre waiting on them to ship our order.
To note, Akishop PS360+ PCBs will not have a consistent restock; once they are out, it may take several weeks to get more. Akishop is starting their pre-order process again in 2-3 weeks, and will take several weeks to manufacture should they receive enough pre-orders. If youāre looking to secure some, we highly suggest picking them up now before theyāre gone.
