I really like the idea of selling silent inserts individually. Do you think they will fit in a Sanwa OBSN-30 RG? That’s my button of choice. Also, will they change the feel of the button? Do you have any samples of the inserts that you could show a picture of?

The inserts should fit almost any 30mm button. The washer does change the feel of the button slightly; as you push down, the button plunger comes in contact with the washer first before the bottom of the rim. It’s not as clicky, but still very responsive. We had the same feel in a Seimitsu PS-14-KN.
At the moment we don’t have any sample inserts because we haven’t made them yet. However, we can show you what the washer looks like in the Sanwa OBSFS button.

Why does my USPS Priority or Express international tracking number display someone else’s information?
USPS recycles its Priority or Express international package tracking numbers after the item is delivered. That tracking information is held for several years until it is used again. All new orders that are shipped from Focusattack.com are given a number directly from the Post Office’s automated servers. Please allow at least 24-48 hours for the USPS server database to update with the new information related to that tracking number.
Again, it’s likely that you - like many people this week - are eagerly checking their tracking numbers well before the 24 hour processing period that the post office takes to update its servers. Our staff processed orders late into the night last night in order to catch up with a significant jump in orders from this weekend and Monday. Your order will likely ship this early afternoon, but the label was printed last night. USPS will update the shipping status once it processes the label.

I just wanted to stop in and introduce myself and say thank you for all your patience while I worked through the mountain of orders from the weekend. Just to give you all a quick update - unless there was a reason that your order required any special attention (and you would have received an email from me if it did) if your order was placed anytime Friday - midnight EST on Sunday it is on it’s way to you! Just to thank for another fast and furious shipping service! I place my order the past saturday and it was shipped this monday, I get the package this morning and this time everything was just like I ordered. Just wanted to pass on a few things while I’m here:
Officially, we are just about sold out of Akishop’s PS360+ PCB. It appears that the next restock won’t be for some time. Akishop is taking pre-orders again in two weeks, and it will be several weeks before the pieces are re-manufactured. Looking at 2 months.
We’ve had to push off some plans we had this summer. Time constraints to fit everything in the store now require us to expand the storage area. One of those plans were the Seimitsu line of buttons. Rest assured we still aim to offer them. The second plan was mix and match button service. We’ve figured a more effective way to offer this, which is why we need additional room.
Arcade plexis have been absent from our store because we did not have a manufacturer in recent months. We’ve found a new one, and created an order for Qanba 6 and 8 button configurations. Of note is the potential to offer additional plexis in 1/32" impact acrylic. We’re working with this manufacturer to build regular, extended and full size madcatz plexis in 1/32" thickness.
Those three plans are now slated for mid September. We thank you for your patience as we get these items in stock. We have a number of additional items that we plan to introduce each quarter.
Finally, those who also inhabit Facebook may like a new feature we’re trying out. With over 4,000 fans and near 4,000 followers on Twitter, we’re asking players like you to submit your best looking joysticks for others to comment and “like”. It’s a great way to share your creation with other players and get inspiration for other joysticks you might want to design. There’s certainly a thread here on SRK, but we think there’s plenty of room for additional exposure. Even better, we will have contests in which players vote for their favorite photo submitted each month. Both voters and the winning submission will have a chance to win a FA gift certificate.

And the impact acrylic is just fantastic! I think is time to jump in and start using the snap buttons… and here is where the 1/32" acrylic will help me!

We’re sorry about that. We offer First Class International for products up to 4 pounds, which is usually enough for most. To my knowledge there isn’t a low-cost air or sea freight option like SAL. I believe that you asked this in an email to us. Like SAL, First Class International doesn’t have tracking and can take weeks to arrive, but it is the least expensive. Can you mention what shipping options you viewed at the site? Was First Class International one of them?

Not a silly question at all. You can post your photo on our timeline. It will appear in the column “Recent” posts by others. We feature it in the main timeline, where all fans on both Facebook and Twitter can see and comment on it.
You can also send a message and an attachment in facebook. Look for a link named “Message” in our cover photo.

Regarding plexis, we may have a duo of manufacturers that will allow us to carry many more plexi varieties than we originally thought would be possible within a short time. We’ll keep you posted.
