A lot of shit occurs that are within grey areas. If I had the influence as a player to move people around a bracket, should players embrace this activity? Maybe I can do this and get away with it. It could just be “playing to win”. Should it be encouraged? Morals are not as much an issue here, it’s whether sportsmanship should matter.
I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of people thought the same.

Yeah except we’ve already established that there’s a myriad of reasons for why that issue you raised earlier, is the way it is. This thread is about some guy who wants meet like-minded people that can go to tournaments together and represent a certain ideal they appear to believe is missing from the tourney scene, someday, it’s likely this organization will be at the epicenter of one of SRK’s great dramas, if they already aren’t.
At any rate, that alleged absence of a certain gender in the tourney scene isn’t the issue here. Yeah I think it’s pretty much a given one of the goals of this group is to make the scene appear more appealing to all types of people who may have been turned off by the behavior of one or two people at an event. Would I have to be crazy to assume that wouldn’t include women? Er I mean, that certain gender?
Some of the people in this thread are really being dumb. Calling on the community to lower the bigotry is not asking for a ban on trash talking and it’s totally called for if there is a problem.
