I hear what you’re saying, I guess I have LP.palm at -4 which, with the push back, should be -2 in reality or better. Right now if you do a LP palm and it connects you are safe, so if you were to switch it to the tiger knee type attack I suggested and it does same pushback etc that would pretty much be what you are describing, no?

Lots of players don’t reveal what they wrote in the note (or they don’t give a shit), but one of them wrote what the Gouken players usually wanted, and they are surprisingly similar to what is written here, such as EX flip -> EX tatsu follow-up or controllable distance, flip parry having multi armour, command normals, multi-hit horizontal EX fireball, pursuit property on various moves, especially for Super’s 1st hit, U1’s hitbox buff, U2’s startup buff, etc.
He also noted that Kobushi (the Saikyo blog guy) wrote the responses on the surveys written in the past (not necessarily for Gouken’s).
I very rarely post on their threads for discussion. I wanted to write some requests down but after I saw their own requests, I felt that lots of Gouken players think alike and decided not to.

Unless they do something horrible to gouken Im still going to play him just prob not solo main him. I want my hands on 2012 AE and I want this to be the last version and balance update for street fighter 4 so we can sit on the version and master it.

I agree with taken flight on the fact that we all have different fighting styles so we are going to want different things and Im seeing it now. Im not requesting anything anymore and Im going to have faith in capcom and hope they make the right additional changes. Im just ready for the patch now so I can improve my game and kick ass lol.

Just finished this sick ave art! Learning gimp is a pain lol. Anyway, despite their track record with gouken, for some reason or another I have faith that capcom will try hard to make gouken a much better character. Like Q said earlier, I’m looking forward to mastering the new gouken.
