My brother says he wants those too, or he may just make one himself =p
But on topic, I don’t like the look of most fighting game T-Shirts, they look too… like something a gangsta kid would wear in high school. Although I recently bought the Vega shirt from Eternal Rival, that and the Felicia BrokenTier shirt are the only fighting game shirts I have.
Probably my favorite SF related shirt was the very first Triumvir shirt released. It had a cool looking design even if you weren’t familiar with SF. Nobody unfamiliar with SF is going to look at a shirt with huge text saying RAGING DEMON and think thats dope.
Simpler designs, I’m not a fan of shirts with huge loud all over prints. Some more variety would be great and when some places don’t even have an official lisence, the price is a bit steep no?
For $30, you can just make your own custom shirt. Not only will it look better, but it’ll be individualized so when you’re at tournaments, you’ll be wearing an identifiable shirt so that when you meet up with someone or try to get in touch with them later, you can say “I was the guy/girl in the _________” and there wouldn’t be any confusion.
Check out this baby I got, for example. The $30 BTW includes first-class shipping
when it comes to apparel i wish there were more Hats on the market…i would kill for some character theme Hats like Terry’s FF, Bison’s dictator hat, Cammy theme Delta Red hat, a maybe a MadGear Poison inspired hat too~
Shirts and Stuff, i think there should be a verity in designs, Simple stuff works when your wearing jackets or hoodies with it, but larger designs work better when its by itself. personally i loved the broken tier Kazuya shirt~ simple but effective. but i have some from hot topic, like the MVC3 ones and some older SF designs, and they are cool. i personally wished there were more vibrant colors of shirts like the broken tier ones on the market.
This mite just be me but…obviously people love hype and when someone else sees someone who is hyped for a game they tend to spread that same hype. so what im getting at is If places like BrokenTier had released Shirts for up and coming games like SCV or SFxTK people would be more hyped about those games because someone is rocking a pimp ass shirt. plus it gives us something to wear at its release~ whats a better way to show support?
also i kinda wish there were more SRK or FG Meme shirts like the ones we have for MVC3(thanks to Yipes). If Twins werent so Nerfed in AE2012’ i would have wanted them to have a Meme shirt saying something like…“we are the tier list!” anyways i thought i would share my opinions~ i wouldnt mind things for gadgets or different kind of fightstick bags…i like how the madcatz one functions…its just bland as all get out…(i stitched something different on mines) so i wish there were more out there on the market.
I think the rate at which patches and new versions have been coming out has done some damage to this idea, making it a good deal riskier than it was. In all of the designs I worked on I actually did a number of meme shirt, but the idea of making an entire run of something like a “we are the tier list” shirts and then finding out within a month that a new version is coming out is more likely now than ever.
well for the most part i want more apparel for games that are coming out…like for SCV and SFxTK…
the games are already generating alot of hype so shirts and stuff will sell due to hype. i know not every character is getting a shirt but popular characters getting shirts with a verity of colors and stuff will be pretty popular…
Personally things like Hats and Hoodies are cool too…
I think most people just want a shirt that doesn’t scream, “i’m a fucking video game nerd” with just a little drawing here and there. Even the daigo shirt meatbun offers won’t get notice with non-gamers. The prices also need to go down, 20 shipped shirts will sale like pancakes.
I really really really wish BrokenTier weren’t so ridiculous with their shipping prices. I’d love the new Team Spooky and Cross Counter shirts, but they end up being about $50 for the shirts alone. Shipping to the UK then costs a staggering $41 for their cheapest service. That’s almost $100 (£60) for just 2 t-shirts.
To put it into perspective, I recently bought a shirt from shirt.woot (also from the US shipped to the UK), and in total that cost me $20. Shipping took a while, but I’d rather wait a few weeks than pay almost the value of the shirts for shipping.
Wow thist is too random. I’m actually wearing a shirt today that I bought as a sample to see how I like it before putting a design on it. Unfortunately I’m not feeling it the way I thought I would so I might scrap this one.
Anyway International shipping is a pain in the ass, it can be done for cheaper but it requires more work. I used to do it for my business, since the international orders weren’t too often and it didn’t have to go too much out of my way to do it for less. The bigger your operation is though the more money the time you spend saving on int shipping is worth.
I’m meeting up with FedEx soon to negotiate a much cheaper international shipping rate. The main problem is that big companies can say “Well… we’ll just go through _____ for our shipping! give us good rates!”, and small businesses eat shit on it. I use USPS, and it’s awful. Hopefully something can change soon!
Just dropped by this thread to show some love for Koogy I bought the shirt that your using for your avatar (Run it Back). Love the shirt, I’m planing to buy from BT again when the next sale drops.
