Fighting game themed Apparel

So do you guys actually wear these stuff outside of Friends/FG gatherings ?

I do. It seems absurd to me that people are afraid to wear a t shirt (the most common clothing item on Earth) with a cartoon character on it for fear of being too different. Do you people change into a tapout shirt when you go to the grocery, and then switch back to your Brokentier gear when you get home? If something looks good, I’m wearing it [S]despite[/S] especially if it doesn’t fit in with bro culture.

If some douche bag can wear a shitty tapout shirt, why can’t I wear an awesome FGC shirt?

I think I would rather die than be caught in a Tapout shirt, anywhere, ever.

But yeah, I don’t have a problem with wearing a FG related shirt, so much as it doesn’t look too…" tough guy", last thing I need is more people treating me like a dude. But unfortunately, that’s most of the FGC shirts. I do like Brokentier’s Felicia and Murakumo shirts though.

Aside from that meatbun robot zangief shirt, everything else is cringe worthy.

How about fighting game T-shirts that don’t prevent you from being laid with no dorky phrases on em compromising ones dignity… a few years ago a company called Iceberg made marvel t shirts that were exactly how it should be done but alas at £130 a t shirt I did not buy.

If they were more affordable I would totally be that guy with the sweet shirts that was just kinda ok at the games.

Thats who i would be

well i was trying to get something going here to see what everyone thought and i got banned for a year for this forum. either people were really hating on us or they took the forum the wrong way. i would love to see people produce more gaming shirts.

They need to be a bit more subtle.

The best game-related shirt I’ve ever seen is one of UNIQLO’s Metal Gear Solid 4 shirts. Nothing gaudy or flashy - doesn’t even say MGS4 anywhere on it. It’s just a guy in James Bond-esque tux with a cardboard box over his head.

Genius. Fans get it, and everyone else just sees a quirky-but-stylish shirt.

Fighting game shirts need to incorporate this.

I know this is not the “Brokentier request thread”, but any chance for the In Dust We Trust shirt to make a comeback? T__T I think it’s very subtle.

Maybe a bunch of people say in the uk can order a large amount at once so you can ship it all in one box? Im not to familiar with continent to continent shipping prices but would this be cheaper
?
Sent from my GAMEBOY using POKEMON

Pfft I use to wear the polyester button up shirts with the random anime style characters on it and even had a DBZ one,use the wear LOT29 with the looney tunes characters on it. I still have my tshirt with the venom spider logo on it too. I’m a nerdy dude and not ashamed of it. I have bball jerseys, yankees jerseys, I see comic and game stuff in the same way, just less mainstream.

I always thought a Dudley tshirt that was like a fake tuxedo tshirt with green suspenders and green bowtie would be cool…

Those UNIQLO shirts are amazing, and I want to get them as stylish. I’m my own harshest critic, and I think I’ve made some huge strides in the past year to incorporate more art and style into the brand instead of just massive amounts of text.

Yup, doing big bulk orders saves on shipping. A lot of customers from Sweden, Canada and Singapore have done this and it works out. I usually include a crapload of goodies for them, also!

Unless I get the Guilty Gear license, I probably won’t do it. :frowning: Sorry!

We like to call that sort of thing an “Option Select” shirt. And they are indeed the best.

Ah, I see. Thanks for the reply though! I hope you’ll get the license in the near future.

pricing and lack of anything interesting.

I’d just like to thank koogy on actually sticking to his word and getting international customers a better deal on shipping. Just ordered a Cross Counter shirt, and shipping to the UK was only $11 at the cheapest option (there was also a slightly more expensive/quicker but still very affordable option at $17).

Wow, this was literally the first time I’ve ever seen the word “apparel” outside of an American TV commerical. I had no idea regular people actually used the word…

Anyway, T-shirts - yeah, they can be a good idea, but as other people have said, you won’t get away with $60 for one. Remember that if it’s just a memorable/clever/amusing slogan, somebody can print that onto a transfer at home and print it themselves for $5.

I work that industry all day so I’ve found it to be more descriptive and well accepted than the term “shirts and stuff” and I wanted to check the interest on the “and stuff” as well as the shirts.
