Capcom Fighting Jam was such a disappointment. They could have just released a console version of Red Earth and I’d have been a happy man. (Making all of the bosses playable too of course.)
Recently tried Fighters Uncaged. I wasn’t expecting much from the Kinect, on a demo of the game at your local Best Buy, but damn… Just bad all round.
Unresponsive as hell.
Fuck ufc games. Simulators are just boring versions of the real thing. Either really do mma, or play REAL fighters. Besides, the scrub companies releasing these…“games” are more concerned with graphics than anything else.
Like I said, was not expecting much at all. Literally no effort put into it.
Going through my games, I found Bio Freaks. Another game that’s ass. Found Primal Rage, never really got into it. Oh look, DBZ UB 22, more crap.
Oh, now I found Battle Fantasia. I might just stop here, lol. I forgot I had all these bad games… WTF!? I EVEN HAVE SUPERMAN 64, LOL (not a fighting game, just a bonus game I found. Possibly the worst game of all time)
Oh man, I swear, it wasn’t me that bought these.

Dead or Alive 5 might be good compared to this one I found online. Dead or Alive is mostly known for fanservice, but the gameplay is halfway there at least. Look up Battle Raper 2. Bad AND questionable fanservice galore! I can’t believe it even exists…
SF4.
-Nuked the hell out of fireballs
-Lenient inputs on reversals and combos (you have players who can do 20-hit combos but have ZERO footsies and fundamentals)
-Some stupid characters that I’ll never forget (El Fuerte)
-Some of the game boils down to mashing cr. strings while your opponent is mashing his so you can get some random combo out
Know how I know SF4 is full of shit? Because a player like Jyobin can beat very good players by doing all kinds of insane bullshit (random ultras, consecutive SRK’s, etc…). He’s the type of player that would be dead within seconds in SF2, for example. And don’t get me wrong, I love watching him play and he’s BY FAR my favorite SF4 player. But let’s be real…
They should have substituted the combo trials for a footsie/fundamental trials mode. Would be so much more beneficial for some players.

Actually, he has good points. Street Fighter IV feels too lucky/noobish to me. I honestly didn’t play it long. Older Street Fighter games felt much deeper.
EDIT: not that bad a s a fighting game, but it could have been more than what the hype was giving it.

Soul Calibur games have been hit and miss since the 3rd game. I couldn’t be bothered to play the 5th game for very long but I may just buy it for my newly accquired PS3 and give it a fair chance.
a little like Blazblue, but with even less characters. I tried Skullgirls, and I don’t see what all the freaking fuss is about. It’s a little amusing, for awhile, but it’s not all that special… What am I missing?
And I’m pretty sure you have a copy of Atari 2600 ET: The Extraterrestrial under one corner of your entertainment center cabinet to keep it level, and a copy of Iron And Blood: Warriors Of Ravenloft taped to the bottom of some cabinet door in your kitchen to keep it closed.
I don’t see how Skull Girls is an anime fighter. Maybe because I don’t put much stalk into what others consider an anime fighter but if the game is bad in your opinion just say so and don’t pussy-foot around and try to classify all fighters that are different from the norm as something completely new.
Nope. I don’t think I would go that far. Haven’t even played it. Don’t think I’d ever want to either. And the second game you mentioned… May look it up.

Everything you liked about 3 and 4, including stances and moves, is gone.
I wouldn’t rule it out: if Superman 64 has been found in your home, you just might have an infestation.
