All? Should I remind you what most of Dirty Beret made after they left Capcom and formed their own company?
I have no idea what you’re talking about.
The last one I played was Budokai 2, and that, Budokai 1, and all the HORRID PSX / SNES games I’ve played absolutely sucked balls.

That looks really solid by comparison to what I recall from the mashfest that DBZB2 was.
What is this game?
Super Dragon Ball Z (Ps2)
Developed by Crafts & Meister and Arika
Super Dragon Ball Z, a solid fighting game, but a really mediocre DBZ game (**IMO **since i preffer something more over the top like DBZ BT3)
super 4
cause it sucks
I heard Budokai Tenka…uhh… TankTwatItchy or whatever it’s called was decent as a series, better than the first two Budokai games, but my disinterest was profound enough that I didn’t play it.
I heard an HD collection of Budokai is in the works… meh.
Ugh those games…
Zero Divide 2 actually felt more fluid for me compared to Zero Divide 1 btw , you played it ? The first Zero Divide felt SLOW though :…
yup its obvious during those days, all everyone cared about was having 3D graphics, and back then “graphics vs gameplay” discussions were so prevalent. its mind boggling. lets add the PS1 fighters hate
the aforementioned Masters of Teras kasi
mutant academy
dynasty warriors 1
warriors rage
warpath
Skullgirls. I was really hype for this game until realizing it was a stereotypical “anime” game where blocking=losing, and you may as well just have the game input an airdash every couple milliseconds because thats all youre going to be doing.
I actually thought that Mutant academy was fun game.
To add to list. Wu-tang Clan Sholin Style. Soundtrack is the only reason why I never traded it in.
I disliked 3D fighters and Tekken in particular. It came at a time when creators, both in video games and animation, turned to CGI, mainly for cheapness sake, since video game technology at that time for 3D was elementary. While 2D fighters looked polished and gorgeous, 3D fighters looked very ugly. Only after 2000 did they begin to look decent. Not only that, Tekken machines appeared like mushrooms anywhere and old 2d fighters were replaced as outdated. that spread of Tekken surpassed even SF2.
This, along with the MS-DOS version of SF2, has to be the worst PC port ever with atrocious controls.
At that time I had it on PC, which till the arrival of the DC version was the best port, surpassing the consoles. It even supported 3DFX accelerators. It was the first effort for a 3D MK title and together with VF2 it was the only decent 3D fighter on the PC. Now though MK4 looks crap but at that time there wasnt anything better and I preferred this to Tekken.
I had the original Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast and the popularity came mostly due to the amazing graphics. It was the first game where the console port was better than the arcade port and it marked the end of the arcades hardware superiority. Its Gameplay was very easy but in the sequels they began adding extra features and polishing controls.
The original BAT was amazing, when stacked up against the only other two fighters on PSX at the time - Tekken 1 and Criticom.
It was like Tekken 1 > BAT > asshole in a box > Criticom.
Anybody ever played Criticom? That was my first PSX game back in 95, and I played the SHIT out of that game. I had that godlike GORM, son. Whatchu know about dat!?
Trolled from the grave.
The majority of 3D fighters because Dimp’s Budokai series has spoiled me.

There is no way you’re this dense.
ITP: These are the only DBZ/GT fighters that have ever existed.
Here are a few 2D games I didn’t like very much:
SvC Chaos: Sucked in every which way
SF - The movie: Crappy version of SF x Mortal Kombat
MK3: Could never get into the whole run/combo mechanic
Fighter’s History: Was fun but didn’t like the graphics or animation
Martial Champion: Terrible sprites
Primal Rage: Just rubbed me the wrong way
Art of Fighting: Terrible SFII ripoff. Swollen faces were cheesy. Didn’t like the spirit system.
Holosseum: Lame
Aggressors of Dark Kombat: Gimmicky, although I liked Fuuma
Survival Arts: Youtube it
SFxT: Can’t believe I forgot this. Don’t like the sound, GFX or gameplay.
3D:
Battle Arena Toshinden: Only liked one game in the series
Jedpossum already did your job a week ago. You’re late.
This is one of the main examples that games with - by its time - good graphics can trick legions of gamers into wasting their time with wacky shit. I’m guilty of that, too: it took me 4 days to realize Super Empire Strikes Back, for SNES, sucked balls.
Art of Fighting…just…fucking…horrible.
Art of Fighting 2…not much better.
World Heroes Perfect…The “Fox News” of fighting games. (because it’s not fair or balanced)
Primal Rage…fun idea, flawed execution.
Time Killers…No.
