There was a group of people working on a smash sort of game. Melee with original characters. Forgot what the hell the thing was called. Anybody remember it?
was browsing Phantom breaker stuff came across this patciular image.
The art instantly caught my interest.
I may be jumping the gun but I hope what ever this is, it mean some new fighting game being developed.
this is the page source but I can;t make anything out of it
Edit
Actually when I look at some for the sprite now. Alot of them seem reuse sprites.
The blond boxing girl looks like Big bang beat Boxer. Or possibly taramasalata.
The Red hooded character looks like KoF Ash extend idle animation.
The maid girl seem like Kahakau from Melty. I could be wrong. and hope I am but maybe this is just some detail sprite editing.

The Wii version of TTT2 is worth even less at gamestop at $4.80, but is worth way more at $14.40 on Amazon. Apparently itâs got more popularity on WiiU when it comes to Amazon sales at the moment.
I came across this X-Men fighting game released in 2006 for a console called Hyperscan.
Aside from the obviously awful looking gameplay; that has to be the worst looking HUD Iâve ever seen in a fighting game. Also mind blowing someone actually made a fighter without a timer.
Hey for Evo what do ya think of a format in which instead of a select number of games main eventing in which competitors are free to chose from to compete in. Have it where competitors play in all the main event games in which you earn points depending on your placement in each game. After all games are played, either the one with the most points is the overall EVO champion, or the top 8-16 will battle it out in elimination rounds till a champ is decided. I think this could get people to play more variety of fighters instead of sticking to one, and get other fighters more exposure.
Nothingâs wrong with the current format. Just tossing out an idea I had is all. Thought it could be fun and challenge players in a variety of fighters. I see itâs not an idea people like. Oh well.
I think a 2d pre-street fighter game with Gouken, Akuma, Sheng Long, Gen, Chuns dad, Gotetsu, Retsu, maybe Sagat (or the kickboxing champ before him), young Dictator, Eagle, Oro, Boxers teacher (maybe a Mohamed Ali type?), etc would be AMAZING (.00000000000000001 chance of ever happening but stillâŚ)
Saw it coming a mile a way ever since the announcement at PSX. Additionally, the marketing stuff weâre using for the sponsors for the South East Asia Pro Tour events and the Beast of the East also mentioned using the events to promote the PS4, so us TOs in side side of the world are already migrating to the console.
Do you happen to know if any that might contain some stuff about any of the older cast?
And I just thought itâd be kinda neat to get a new 2d release, a return of parries (or not) and isms would appeal to a lot of people missing them. Plus I figure the old cast would still feel like street fighter but feel more "fresh"than anything theyâre putting out (not to mention these characters arenât superr goofy like some of the current onesâŚ)
But nevertheless, youâre right. Like nobody would probably buy it but me lol
Here is a list of Street Fighter comics. Doesnât look like anything beyond the Alpha series. Iâd also think that Chunâs Dad in a game would be a bad idea. Chun could probably whoop his Dan tier ass like it was Tuesday.
(from his wikia page)
âboth he and Gen trained Chun-li in martial arts from an early age; like his daughter, he was also said to have had lightning fast legs and powerful footworkâ
Plus the relation with Gen/Young Dictator could be pretty interesting not to mention itâd be a good excuse to get her moveset in there (even if slightly altered)
This WNF Online Edition is a total farce. If I was Valle Id be calling up Watson tomorrow and do anything to get the tournaments hosted at Super Arcade whenever it reopens.
It seems like a cool idea, but there was so much lag at times players themselves couldnt take the thing seriously. The first game of grand finals consisted of nothing but jumping and stalling even. That totally made me give up caring. Next week has a lot of work cut out for itself to make it seem important. Aris was the only thing that kept me watching because he was so entertaining. It didnt have good viewership too partly because they started while nlbc was going on. It just reinforced how bad online play is and why you cant take it so seriously.
