Like what they should do is have nlbc players and wnf players do single matches online if theyre going this route. An online tournament just isnt good. Do videos players make to build up their matches even, it would make it way more interesting and important.

Shmups actually work well (too well, since it makes bullet dodging easier) on touchpads. Fighters, not so much.
theyāll port it to PC but from the ios port, just like with Metal Slug 3!
Or theyāll use the 360 port, like they did 98UM and 02UM.
The whole issue with Last Round not recognizing arcade sticks on the XBox One has me worried about any future fighters released on the console. Since it seems that the XBOne handles peripherals differently from other consoles before it (where any arcade sick was just treated as a regular controller and didnāt need enabling or drivers) any other dev team, especially smaller ones might run into the same issue and forget to enable sticks when they port to it.
Yea, now Im scared Microsoft may see KI as the only fighting game that deserves to be on their console sine its their game. If they werent like that they would have told DOA āhey, just so you know, you need to use this program/driver on the xbone so sticks will work with your game.ā Maybe since KI is their game they see all other fighting games as competition. Plus a friend told a group Im in that his friend had to use a crossbone to get his xbone ki stick to work with other xbone games.

hey guys Iām in a dilemma. I have an X1 and Iām definitely playing mkx when it drops. should I buy a stick for X1?? I know sfv is going to be a ps4 exlusive which is why Iām having a struggle. I donāt want to have to buy a ps4 and a new stick just for sfv. should I just wait till I have money to buy a ps4 and a fight stick to be able to play both mk and sf on ps4? thatās a ton of money to be throwing around just to play mkx and sfv. also most of my friends are playing mkx on x1:(
Well, MKX is gonna be on ps4 along with a LOT of other games. GG Xrd is already on there and works with sticks. If youre not into KI, then Id consider trading in the Xbone towards getting a ps4.
If most of your friends are playing on xbone, you should get new friends.
If you love fighting games, sell your XBOne and buy a PS4. Itās not just fighting games, there will soon be more arcade stick options on the PS4 than on the One (and lets not forget that the way the One handles peripherals means that its easy for a developer to make a mistake and not add support for sticks).
thanks guys, I do love fgās and trading in the xbone for ps4 sounds like an awesome idea. itās just gna suck bailing on my irl friends for my precious fighting games lol. wish I had enough money for it all(maybe even PC master race).

sighs I thought new wave of actiity would rekindle my interest in UNIEL. This game is really frustrating. How character controls, combo routes. I play melty and adore that but unielā¦just frustrates me to play.

Like neutral nice and fun but once I get the advanatge just lose my train of thought because im trying to remember what follow up into what. In melty Most combo are consistent so i can rely on muslce memory, In UNIEL i have to always adjust my combo and that just too much for me to process.
Hey guys what are 5 things you like and dislike about the fighting game genre?
Like. Arguably the most standout character designs in gaming, awesome soundtracks, endless replayability, The FGC, the 1v1 competition it provides in gaming.
Dislike. Most fighters lack a tutorial, most fighters lack content and modes outside of traditional 1v1 vs, Most female characters have the same body type, Itās hard to get the average person to want to play one, And I donāt have anything else I dislike.
I wonder if this is a trend now. Iāve noticed some fighters that have combo systems that are more free-form but have added certain limits, ostensibly in an effort to promote knowledge of the game over pure muscle memory.
KI is one example thanks to combo breaks. DOA5 (and Ultimate and Last Round) follow the same principle, with counter holds that punish repetition/predictability in combos (similar to combo breakers in KI), but at the same time, a revamped critical stun system that not only increases the amount of time the opponent is in hit stun, but also leads to states where the opponent cannot counter (either through moves that launch only in critical stun, or critical blows). Then thereās Skullgirls, which has a combo system thatās almost as free (or even freeer) than X-Men vs. SF. At the same time, this system is limited by the IPS system which means that you need to keep track of which normals youāve used up when going into an air or ground chain in the combo (and this is before undizzy was added in the current versions, meaning you need to figure out when to best reset as well).
That about it when it comes to my list. Other complaints are game by game basis.
But I think we can still hit few areaās. Net code getting better is sttill a challenge but I do think game could have better way of rating connection.
I find it strange in this day an age I can play people that rate good connection and yet it turns out bad, and then i get bad connection and yet its playable. I think the bar thing is bad way to rate netcode. Skull girl does better job by giving you the ping number ratings.
while I applaud NRs and ASW lobby approach they can still do better imo.
I like how BBCT and SNK on the original xbox in past lets you do survival mode or practice till a match was available.
admittedly these are priority to the dislike stuff but thing that should be adress with easy fixes imo.
