With the front page re-announcement for TxSF, I might as well bring up a discussion here. Any characters from either side you really hope to see for TxSF? We basically already know the game is going to be centered around Ryu and Jin from the concept art, and Evil Ryu/Devil Jin are possible. I’d like some 3S characters for the SF side, and Drag/Alex/Roger/Lee on the Tekken side.

Q, Sean and Alex. Blanka and Mika should be a rival battle.

SF - Alex, Urien, Oro, Gouken, Claw and Roxy/Poison.

Tekken - Gon, Anna Williams, Christie, Yoshimitsu, True Ogre and Katarina.

Ugh, i hate watching xrd on stream because i swear they always play the same fucking stage. Its so fucking infuriating, because the game has some beautiful stages and music, but a whole top 8 will usually be played on the below stage.

Better than playing in Edinburgh Magicapolis. Almost every other stage is great. I don’t know how anyone on the dev team thought: “Let’s have a stage with a scrolling background, so people can feel really sick after playing that shit for half an hour!” and people agreed.

Better than playing in Edinburgh Magicapolis. Almost every other stage is great. I don’t know how anyone on the dev team thought: “Let’s have a stage with a scrolling background, so people can feel really sick after playing that shit for half an hour!” and people agreed.

Scrolling stages aren’t anything new. They’ve been around since the 90’s in some of Capcom’s games (A2 Rolento’s stage and multiple VS stages).

Im at a weird stage in xrd. Im better than some of the people at my level but too underskilled to compete with those better than me. It would probably help if i played somebody other than Slayer.

I feel ya. Going to play a lot tonight offline with a buddy to really get a feel. I’ve got less than a month to get better than just a pot monster for Frosty Faustings, which, means I’m gonna get mauled since it’s a GG centric tourney.

Tell me about it, it doesn’t help that since i live outside my country in a place without any kind of scene for fighting games, i end being very inconsistent, sometimes playing really great, and other times falling for the most obvious mixups, i see them coming yet i still don’t do anything about it,

I suck at every game I play except Dota 2 and I don’t play that shit anymore.
At least I got a local scene for SF4 and Xrd though, where some people are even worse than me.

So sad when you’re good at something and then realize that it sucks.

What game? I don’t recall Street Fighter 1 ever having a continuously scrolling stage on a train/boat/whatever? The earliest ones I can remember were from Fatal Fury 2 in '91.
