That’s not an infinite… Also this has been found by hella people before. Reading is super fun.
I’m sorry I came on this forum late to share some information. Just trying to contribute.
This is probably the Reset I go for the most anywhere midscreen
Thanks THE_KZA, I’ll start working on that now.
I also have this one in my list of combos for Thor, is this one even possible or just an advanced version of the one you posted? (I haven’t been able to land it)
[Reset] triangle jump, cr. M/H, S, air M, air M, air H xx air Mighty Strike (L), air L xx air Mighty Spark (L), air dash (UF) xx Mighty Hurricane
Does Trish’s Low Voltage count in that category? I’m thinking about replacing Dormammu with her.
if the other player recovers back or forward will it still connect?
The :l: Mighty Strike to ADUF reset is probably the easiest mid-screen option execution-wise, but I think the Mighty Strike into Fly into auto-correcting air dash is by far more consistent and more tricky. It pretty much defeats that one tactic that stuffs almost any reset: mashing.
Aduf= Air dash up forward?
Yup.
Im going to have to work on this one … Airdash up forward right after the strike or wait a tic?
Can be either. Learn both to screw with your opponent’s timing in case they’re a masher.
is there use to mighty strike other than he resets and the Mversion to start a combo?
It’s good for advancing and getting in while beating out your opponent’s defensive attempts. If you space it right, you’ll beat almost anything they can do short of hypers, and if you do it mostly from the air (learn to tiger-knee), it’s very hard to punish even on block.
^ whats the input for this tiger-knee i read about it yet i still seem to have problems
also after playing competively with thor for about 100 matches i do have to say he is quite a force to be recking with. Only problem he truly has is an attact for gtfo once someone abuses a characters frame advantage moveset. (akuma’s tatsu) Man facing akuma was just a pain in the ass.
The motion for a standard tiger knee is :d::df::f::uf::atk:.
For a tiger-knee’d dragon punch it would be :f::d::df::f::uf::atk:
For Mighty Strike, it’s a reverse, tiger-knee’d dragon punch, so :d::db::ub::atk:
Here’s the short explanation: Sagat’s Tiger Knee attack was sort of the originator of the “fireball ending in up-forward motion.” Since then, the term “tiger-knee” as a verb has come to be used for command attacks that can be performed in the air but started on the ground. What you do is input the command as normal, but end in up-forward or up-back and very slightly delay the button press at the end so that it comes out just AFTER you leave the ground. The tricky part is that you still have to do it fast enough that the game registers it as a single command input and the move comes out. It’s pretty easy with fireball motions, but dragon-punch motions can be tricky.

Advance, advance, advance, then mighty smash to just get the ball rolling.
Which version of mighty smash should i use?
M Mighty Smash. Free Combo afterwards.
I didn’t know you could tk dp motions as well. Nice info.
