FC NYChrisG Should receive a yellow card, have evo seed points revoked, etc

lol oh really? You clearly haven’t been around very long, because this has happened, and those people are still in the FGC today.

So if the crime is the same but the motive is different, one is punishable and one is not.

Can’t believe this is actually getting to people lol. What a thread.

Spectating at Evo 2012 is free, so bring your friends!

Justin didn’t ‘not press buttons’. He actually won a match. He clearly tried to win with the team he picked.

Oh good, so you’ll have no problems if every grand finals is thrown then?

Nope. Reminds me, I gotta catch up on the Break.

I would say it’s odd for someone for someone to try hard enough to get into grand finals of a game and then seemingly give up entirely once they get there. I mean that’s what we all strive for now, right? Get that money, get your name out there, look good on stream, play against someone good to better yourself, you know?

Theeeeeeeeen I remember this is Chris G we’re talking about, and it doesn’t surprise me in the slightest.

Some of these communities need to step up, Mr. G’s treating your games like a coloring book activity.

le sigh

When I spend my hours and $$$ to travel to a tournament, it’s to play. When I’m not playing in tournament, I’m playing casuals. Almost anything else is a waste of time.

So yeah, if the other people in the tournament feel like fucking around for whatever reason, I could not care less because the idea of going to a tournament just to watch is laughable to me, and nobody has any obligation to play for anyone but himself.

Don’t care, don’t care, and LOL.

What the fuck are we children here?

Do you like people making your decisions for you?

You should be able to give up when you WANT to

And who the fuck gets to define what throwing a match is? You can’t just pidgeonhole some special cases like that. What the hell do you expect them to do, ban the random button?

Get the fuck out of here with any of this bullshit.

Tournaments are there for people to play and test themselves, not to put ourselves in some monkey cage for any hamburger to just watch.

Since I don’t see many people playing to be the best anymore, just people playing to get into the money and being content with top 8, I don’t care. The mentality changed when the scene changed.

Shouldn’t you feel more offended that more better players didn’t show up for the event and he ended up in grand finals?

I’m trying to find a cache of the Evo ruling where they carded Jwong.

It was found previously here: http://shoryuken.com/content/evo-ruling-regarding-power-up-2011-4410/ but it was deleted after the maintenance a few months ago.

I’m trying to find Evo’s wording and reasoning on Justin’s Yellow card to see if the same wording and reasoning can be applied here.

EDIT: Isn’t it funny how Justin got yellowcarded for something from the same major last year? Haha.

Weren’t most of the West Coast guys at Fight For Youth?

Pretty sure all those so-called spectators aka pot monsters are how tournaments of any size exist.
Not corporate sponsorships.

All is not what it seems in FG tourneys these days. This thread is a real eye opener to the FG illuminati, rigged matches, finalists splitting pots, players not trying hard enough!!! Its like when I was kid and told the truth about the WWF all over again.

btw this stuff happens almost every week at big two lol

Chris G should get yellow-carded for not trying his in the grand finals.
Additionally, all other competitors should be yellow-carded for not trying their hardest in the grand finals

I agree, I hope any sponsor outside fgc agrees! Go away NOS!

Hey Chris G’s excuse that he put on twitter for his actions, is that he does it all the time. And whoever watches the stream, if you decide to watch him play, it’s your fault. That means you thousands of viewers. (Go away!)

NOS can go away, but Brazzers has to stay

Let’s start yellow carding everyone who get’s bodied too, because that makes sense.
