Fatal Fury Battle Archives 1 (collection)

Unless they totally bombed, I don’t see SNK USA backing out now.

They already have the release dates () set.

That’s the soundtrack, not the actual game.

Gamestop doesn’t give a ass apparently. Not only did they jack up the price(as someone previously mentioned), but the Product Avalibility feature at their site won’t track this title.

Regardless, I’m still getting it once I find it.

Ordered my copy from the family video place along with Persona 3…both of which I now read via email are on back order and is expected to ship in 30 days…good thing i’m patient

I’d say don’t buy AOF Anthology and FF Battle Archives at GS/EB since they jacked up the price for no reason…but where else are people going to find it offline?

just saw AOF anthology at GS for 14.99 new. won’t pick it up cause i don’t like it.

I am in Phoenix and am having a pretty hard time finding this game, although I am told it IS out. SO far I have tried the following stores with no luck.

Gamestop
GameCrazy
BestBuy
Circuit City
Toys ‘R’ Us
Frys Electronics

Gamestop told me that unless it was pre ordered they wouldn’t get it, which is BS cause they get everything eventually. (AOF, I am looking at you.). Game Crazy has no idea what I was asking about, and has no idea whether they will get any. The rest just blew me off. Anyway, if anyone in Phoenix has had any luck, post that up.

I ordered a copy from Family Video last week and it arrived today. FFSpecial and 3 have both held up over time. 1 and 2, not so much. It was definitely worth a purchase at $12.99 after coupons.

Gamestop has release dates for KoF XI and NGBC in October. GS has the titles listed for $19.99 each. I wonder if these are marked up an extra $5 as well. SNK Playmore lists one in September and the other in October.

I uploaded some asian tv commercials for Fatal Fury games that feature live-action…actors dressed up as the characters. If you haven’t seen them before, I would recommend that you do!

Live-Action Fatal Fury

Release dates have been changed in the SNKP website (both games listed w/ Fall 07 release if I’m not mistaken).

GameFly.com lists KOF XI release on 10/07/07 (my birthday, yay!) & NGBC release date on 10/26/07.

i smell delays on SNKP USA’s part.

how difficult it is to port games that has been out like almost 2 years so they can play on american ps2?

They’re waiting for the manuals… :stuck_out_tongue:

thanks

its gonna take them a few more months to localize them.

Got this in the mail last night from Amazon.

Stayed up until 2:30 last night playing Fatal Fury Special (mostly).

Anyway, I’ve decided. I’m going to practice the hell out of Fatal Fury Special and Art of Fighting 2, sign up for Evo and challenge some folks to old-school, curmudgeonly SNK fighting action.

“Hyaku Mega-Shock, Neo-Geo!!!”

We should all email sales@snkplaymoreusa.com to bitch about this game not being carried. also link to this thread. id do it but im on wii browser.

I cant go to evo this year but me ans XTG really love this game, we’ll be playing and recording matches soon.

I got my copy of the game today. I ordered my copy last Friday from that FamilyVideo website somebody posted a few pages back, game was shipped last Tuesday, arrived at my door this morning. Good price, definitely recommended for those who are still looking for a copy of the game.

Same here. None of the local shops have it, so that’s the best option for now.

Plays like it did x years ago. I miss the Genesis soundtrack, though.

Correction: I won’t be trying to sign for Evo until next year…

But once I do, it’s ON LIKE DONKEY KONG, BITCHES!!!

You win.

Perfect.

Joe Higashi’s FF2 music on Genesis was hot. Krauser’s and Mai’s, too. They weren’t like watered down versions of the Neo Geo music…they were more like remixes.
