Me and XTG’s Experience trying to find the game today:

Gamecrazy:

Called, they said no.

Circuit City:

Walked in. XTG asks Sales dude at the front desk as we walk in, “I’m looking for a PS2 game…”

CSR: “The games are over there.” Points

We have to dig through the mixed games with some ludicrous prices (2k6 sports titles for 29.99), and nada.

This game either didn’t ship yet, or it’s hard to find.

My copy shipped today from familyvideo.com. They sell it for $15 plus 99 cents for shipping. They offer a $5 coupon for first time customers. They sent me a $3 coupon for my second order. Their shipping was pretty fast last time I ordered from them. I’m sure it depends on how far away from Illinois you are since they ship first class, not priority or media mail.

I already have the JPN version but I went ahead and ordered the US version as well as a way to show my support to SNK. I mean, for $15 is there any reason for not getting this awesome collection?

I ordered this from Family Video (thanks for the link) and I went ahead and pre-ordered KOF XI while I was at it.

Now, I hope I’m able to get Neo Geo Battle Coliseum.

Hahaha, my local Blockbuster has it to rent. They get some niche games for some reason, they also have Raiden III. But $8 to rent a $15 game, hmmmmmm.

From what they had hinted at, we may see King of Fighters XI as “early” as October, with Neo Geo Battle Coliseum coming around the end of the year.

I was referring to the family video site, from which fighter x says he pre-ordered the game

…not to mention all word from the site you mention points to september for kof xi and october for ngbc (or vice versa…has been mentioned on this thread several times)

i’m not surprised if kof xi or ngbc gets delayed further behind or has questionable release dates. the incompetent snk playmore usa staff can’t even port 94’ rebout to the xbox and they have to cancel it.

Xbox version got canceled in Japan as well, so it’s not just a SNKP USA problem.

the one I ordered from Amazon has shipped (Amazon now lists the game as being sold by Target)… so hopefully it should be here in a day or so.

Much better than the original “Sept 6-20 ship date” I was given last week

Unless your desperate for the whole collection, just get Fatal Fury Special (best one) on xbla with netplay goodness, once its released. Its already got its own Page and forum on xbox.com so it can’t be far off now!

I do plan on downloading Fatal Fury Special from XBLA too but I’d also like to own a physical copy that I can take to a friends house since we both have HRAPs for our PS2s that we would rather use to play this awesome game.
