We usually meet just Mondays, but I’ve been thinking about on the weekends maybe having a Level Up session here and there. We’re slowly getting more people coming out of the woodwork and saying they enjoy their fighters, so we’ll have to see from there really haha

Yeah we’re pretty much just using the facebook now since we all check it a lot more often. For future visitors of this thread: if you’re interested in playing fighting games in the fargo/moorhead area we often run weekly casuals, contact myself or TheKrug3r and we’ll add you to the facebook group where we do a lot of coordinating.

Been considering trying to find a job/internship in the Fargo/Moorhead area for a year or so after graduation (My plan is to take the LSAT and shoot for law school in fall 2013). Fargo is hardly a huge city like I’d want, but its bigger than what I’m used to. I also have a couple connections in the area.
Yoooooo, this thread has been inactive for too long. We started up “big” this year with a tournament and we’re going to start doing monthly tournaments and weekly casuals again. At the last one we had 16 entrants for SF4AE and 8 for UMvC. Those will be staples, at the next one we are gonna run 3rd Strike because it’s just too popular around here with the old people. SCV will be making an appearance at casuals and possibly the next next tournament. So I think this is a good time to get involved and hang out with all the cool kids. Wow, finally found a ND thread. I moved up from New Mexico about a year and a half ago, came from an active scene. I’ve helped put together and run some pretty large scale tournaments, brought in the best of the best for Soul Calibur 2 and 3 back in those days. My gaming has died down a lot, I’m one of the “old” guys if you will. Anyway, 8wayrun has a dead ND thread, and my friends in NM said “you know damn well SRK is where it’s at!!!” and I knew they were right.
Anyway, I’m pretty much just a Soul Calibur player. I’ve tried some SF, used to play some BlazBlue, never got into MvC. I see there’s a tournament coming up, and wondering how many SCV players you guys have. Would be good to come to Fargo and get some casuals, maybe even find some SC players up here in Grand Forks.
Edit: Let me also say that in no way am I any kind of “big time” player, I just like playing competitively and pretty much was an average skilled player among my peers. But love playing me some Soul Calibur.
